TSN vs. r/MLBTheShow
-
Idk if anyone else has ever been on the MLB The Show subreddit but it’s very unpleasant at least for the time being. Very toxic and the moderators don’t do a great job. Honestly so glad to have TheShowNation its so much better

I used to feel the opposite. But in the last two years or so, TSN went from being horrible to awesome and the r/ went from being awesome to horrible.

That moderator called mythofdob has not helped the sub

To be fair, he's been a mod for years and has done a lot more good than harm. I think the sub exploded in membership (and toxic membership, at that) and they're not well enough equipped to mod thoroughly. I mean, the dude chopped off part of his thumb the other day and still had that Chipper debacle to look forward to when he got home.
Realistically, if a forum or sub needs that close of an eye on it, the problem isn't the mods, it's the members.

Yes, TSN comunity was a lot worse for 17 and 18 than 19 and so far 20.

He had done very little good

I disagree, but it's totally cool if you feel differently. Organizing tournaments and contests and consistently facilitating engaging content while policing the bad can't be easy, especially in that volume.

Reddit as a whole is going to be a toxic environment. Doesn't matter where you go, you'll find someone. Easiest to just get in with it, occasionally visit the sub, but I'm far more active on the Rockies sub.

The complaints about the game and karmawhoring is a dangerous combo

I love the Sub-Reddit, yeah there are toxic people, but you can say that about any forum spot. Also, I am ok with mythofdob, he seems to handle things alright. I've have not run into any issues with him.

I’m surprised you’re still allowed to post and have an account after what you said to buck
