Cards that Disappoint/Frustrate you?

This might be more of a reflection on pitching but man I have been disappointed in Greg Maddux. I grew up idolizing this guy as a kid and pretending to be him. I know he is not a high heat pitcher and that is what I loved about him. I have been successful time to time with him but daggumit he will hang pitches for no reason. This guy rode his movement and control into the hall of fame. He shouldn't have as many hangers as every other pitcher in this game. When I am locating with him he is fun to pitch with but then comes the inevitable hanger (and usually on good input).

What cards have you been disappointed in so far?

99 Mo, prestiged him and it wasn’t worth it...I’d take 50k for him lol...only to see he is 200k

Reggie Jackson. He had some time in the spotlight for me early on, but I just outgrew his swing and can't even try using him any longer. Shame, since his no-doubt HR animation is so great.

Maddux on AS is [censored]. Maddux on HOF is a god

Eric Davis, Schmidt and SS Mariano.

Reggie Jackson,Mike Schmidt and ryne Sandberg hit like hot Garbage for me.

Mike Schmidt. Couldn't hit with his brutal swing, and somehow he was making more errors for me over at 3rd than 94 Chipper was...

99 Griffey / Honus / Cobb/ Mays/ very disappointed we don't have them yet. Frustrated that I have to wait.

Sheffield by far for me. Very expensive and he just doesn’t produce when I use him. I think it’s because he’s so close to the plate but who knows?

Reggie, Mickey, Babe heck all the high diamond Yankees I seem to have trouble with

And Ernie Banks. I wanted him since he dropped, couldn't pull him, couldn't afford him. Finally got him to put at 3rd and ended up not getting a long with his swing.

I hit .111 with Banks so your not the only one who had issues hitting with him.

Jimmy Rollins and Barry Larkin. I still have Jimmy as my SS because of his defense. Can’t for POTM Tatis

Jimmy Rollins, Andre Dawson and Ben Zobrist. I see these come up often as cards people really like. I'm hitting in the low .220 with all of them.

Schmidt. Second year in a row. I just can’t get it going with his swing. Also Mo, I think his release point is just really easy to pick up.

Sandberg, Walker at times and the new Bo.

Gary Sheffield for sure. Behind him, Reggie.

Was ernie for me but after 90+ ab’s im starting to get a feel for his swing.

Felix for me. So excited every year to try him but he just gets rocked and his control is just really awful at times.

rollins. trying not to bail on him.

I’ll agree with Schmidt. Just recently had to replace him with Brett. He should be a top card in the game, but he just doesn’t hit like you’d expect.

Everyone hates Schmidt’s swing. I personally love it. Best feeling in the game is hitting a no-doubter with him.

Rollins, Sandberg and Hornsby disappointed me. I reacquired Hornsby and he is beginning to click with me now. But Rollins and Sandberg have had their chances and I just couldn’t do much with them.

Gonna echo Rollins. Just couldn't get much going with him. Switched to Banks and things are going great.

Harper and Griffrey Junior....don't even hit .200 with them.
