Reds pitcher comes in to run

Red had a pitcher come in to run in todays game, should have this in the game come 2021, no reason not too

A few years ago I saw the weirdest thing ever. It was a D-backs game and they brought Zack Greinke in to PH for someone. And he got a hit! And then they brought in a reliever (can’t remember who) to PR for Greinke. I wonder if that was the only time in baseball history when a SP pinch hit for a position player and then a reliever pinch ran for the pitcher.

That was Lorenzen who saw time at CF last year, he is a good athlete

i was here at a UNLV Baseball game i think it was 2013,2014 there was a game that went into extra innings... think it was like the 12th or 13th.... it was unlv vs Air Force, they had a walk and the 1st base coach was a player.... someone walked and he subbed in as a pinch runner.... kinda wish we could see more "random stuff" in game with real life...

I don’t know about other teams, but the Braves have done stuff like that since the 90’s. Max Fried PR a lot. Bobby Cox would bring in Glavine and Maddux to lay down bunts late in the games.
