For everybody who complains about the advantage the Yankees have, what is your excuse for the Mets? Same location, same revenue base, same publicity, yet the one team consistently fields a winning team while the other parades Tim Tebow around their minor league facility while getting clobbered on national television?
Are the New York Mets the worst franchise in baseball today, considering financial and geographic advantages?
The difference is the owners. The Wilpons could care less about the product on the field as long as they have money. The Steinbrenners would throw up seeing that product on the field.
If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all....
