Can anyone explain to me how this works?
Kyle Seager is currently hitting .300 (20th in the league) and is third in the league with 14 RBI, and hitting like .600 with RISP and yet his inside edge is down three points in contact and power vs right...
Similarly, Johan Ramirez has pitched 5 scoreless innings in relief, with 8 k’s, and yet his h/9 and k/9 are down 5 and his OVR down 2.
Lastly, why are players not up with the MLB club or in the IL getting boosts or cuts?

it seems more like it's based off of history against the pitcher they are facing and their career stats against that type of pitcher. Not so much how they are currently playing, that seems to be more of what the roster updates are for.
