I think he's just not using his pitches correctly. Having two pitches is enough of a hassle against trying to fool the hitter, if you don't mix it up well, bad news.

If he’s not throwing gas, then he’s in trouble. Even his last year in Boston he wasn’t lights out like I remember him being. You can still be an effective closer without the gas but you gotta mix it up like Hoffman or Foulke. If I were the Cubs I’d wanna know that his arm is healthy.

Speaking of........here he is for mop up duty!!! Gives up a lead off triple lol!

He’s still throwing 97 but I seen that his arm angle is different than in the past, and his control is awful.
