Someone had to replace Griffey and we would hate him(so we thought), but Mike Cameron did enough to be liked and loved by most... The other obvious one is "The Chief" Freddy Garcia all-star caliber pitcher in the early 2000s
Favorite team's player not in game?
Dan Wilson too, but he wouldn't translate well.. Dream pick (RP)Randy Johnson, from the one game playoff vs Angels(95)where he was a reliever(his prime/Sig would be a dback, but he would need a M's card too.
Cubs...I have a lot of obscure players I would love to see but as far a stars...I'd love to see Sosa, Derek Lee, and Mark Grace.

My bro loved Lee, his card wouldn't be good, but would be fun to have.

Yeah... He's a throw your stubs at sds guy, but what about Ray Durham or JT Snow?

Would both be serviceable, but not high end diamond cards I'd say.

Yep, no mets affiliation, but love captain america.

Yeah or sds next year gives low end starting diamonds for teams. Snow or Durham would be a good starting point for giants fans. Team specific rewards early season would be great.
Personally, i really want to see Chris Sabo, but the fact is that the biggest glaring Reds omission(obviously not counting Pete Rose) is Frank Robinson.
Rays - Carl Crawford, Roberto Hernandez/Grant Balfour
Pirates - Brian Giles, Jack Wilson
Dodgers - Fernando Venezuela
Pirates - Clemente is the obvious answer, but if we are going with this year's game theme of more recent players, Brian Giles
