Where is Shogo Akiyama?
-
Why is Shogo Akiyama still not in the game?
-
Have they released a update since the season started? He better be in the first one LOL, I've purposely not played franchise because I'm a Reds fan and I wanted to have him on my team. I guess they can't add them until they've actually played a game

whats the hold up????

Okay, I see they did release a roster update and didn't add him in. WTF? You had the time to add Zack Pop and Holden Capps, Shogo Akiyama card should have been ready to go as soon as he played his first game. Come on SMH
-
He is in the vault in ridinrosters draft verson at least. That's the roster I use
-
Was told awhile ago that they wouldn't add any players until they played at least one game. Well here we are, he's played multiple games and still nothing
-
I pulled his actual Rookie card from Topps series 2 pack this week

Another update, STILL not added. But they find the time add a bunch of common free agents just so every pack now has better odds of garbage free agents nobody wants. What a joke. But no, they're not driven by micro transactions to get people to buy stubs only to get players you've never heard of. But add a starting player? Nah, ain't got time for that. We were working on 27 year old common Craig Brooks, who's never played in the mlb.

Unbelievable. Starter and one of the Reds best hitters right now... What's happening here?

He didn't sign with the Yankees or Dodgers. He'd be gold by now lol

FYI, it's not just playing a game to get added here.
a player must play in at least one regular season major league game to join the players association.(though with them having full minors this year a game there probably would do it if they weren't cancelled this year)to join the union there is paperwork that must be filled out and sent in by the player/agent. once processed he is in the union and can be added to the game.reason why he isn't in yet is probably cause of paperwork, prior years some guys took weeks to be eligible, cause of the paperwork.

He was signed in January, played in spring training, the summer restart camp, and now major league games. Shouldn't he have been added when he was put on a 40 man roster? If he pays union dues, which I'm guessing he does since he's on a major league team, how can he not have "signed his paperwork"? How can you withhold money for union dues if somebody hasn't signed the paperwork , and if you are isn't he in the union by default as soon as you do? He would have the same rights for grievances, etc as any other player in the mlb right now, correct? So he is a mlb union player. He signed over 8 months ago

No it's not really that important, unless you want to play a Reds franchise or any other mode as the Reds and would like to have him on the team. It's more pointing out they can add common free agent nobodies but not a starting player on an MLB team. Some of us would like him in the game, you don't care either way which is fine but some do.

It may not be SDS' fault he's not in game. There's paperwork to fill out and then need to get approval from the MLB and MLBPA. Since none of us know for sure that's been done we have to believe that he's not purposely being left off the rosters.

It is important for those of us that rather play online rated

Online casual noobs don't know they can download proper realistic rosters like Ridin's, to them rosters only come in pulling packs and getting silly metallic rated cards.

Still no official Akiyama card

Yes !! San Diego why is he not in the game ... Please give us a reason !!
