I'm not a Dodgers fan, but I've been following Verdugo for a while, he's no Mookie Betts, but he is good. Just hasn't gotten the playing time. Should be a .300 20/25 HR guy.
Jeter Downs is underrated piece to, I wouldn't be surprised to see him leap up in the Prospect rankings this year, he's got the speed and at age 20 is finally finding his power stroke.

They shouldn't go for Betts, they need pitching more than hitters. Not a dodger fan but getting Betts is a waste if you don't have the pitching. They lost Ryu and Hill, Kershaw is showing his age and is not good in the playoffs. Kenley isn't as good as he once was and the bullpen is shotty. The pitching is what's been letting them down and especially in the postseason.

This would be a good trade for Boston. I'm assuming Dodgers are hoping to resign Betts to a huge deal. I think Dodgers pitching staff will be fine for the next 2-3 years, but they do need bullpen help. Big question will be if Corey S. will get back to his old ways and if Max can improve is .250 average?

That's a lot for a rental of Betts unless LA intends to try and sign him long term. No way that is the package if David Price is getting thrown in the deal.
