I don't have experience with past seasons and what to expect with LS card upgrades. Can we expect 85-89 cards to get upgraded to 90+? Yelich seems like the most obvious candidate.
What's the impact on stub value? Not expecting it to shoot into the 100k range, based on existing supply. But they presumably start to get more rare in packs?

Funny - I was going to ask the same question. I played mostly RTTS in the past, but dove into DD this year.

    Don't forget Trevor Story.

But yes it can happen, usually the impact isn't huge. We're talking maybe an extra 10-20k in price, that's it. And only if they go to 90+.

The impact should actually be pretty huge this year. 90+ LS diamonds are some of the rarest cards available right now because there’s only one way to earn them consistently: winning 12 games in BR. Obviously you can pack them, but that’s a crapshoot.

85-89 overalls are so cheap because there are so many different ways to earn them: BR only requires 9 wins, events, and the frequent live series diamond packs they’ve been giving out. It won’t jump up immediately, but it’ll be slowly creeping up in price.

They won’t creep up that much. The 90+ diamonds are expensive because of Mantle. Anyone who remotely plans on going for Mantle already has Mookie, Yelich, and Acuna

Haha, we already bonded over Story on the upgrade speculation thread! I got a spare Story card from the headliner pack from the 6th inning showdown, and I'm going to hold on to that! Feels like a leap to see him go from 85 into the 90+ group.

    Respect! Unfortunately I don't see him hitting 90 I'm a short season.
