Last year it was Honus Wagner.
Who will it be this year?”Between “The Chase for....” and “The BIG Legends....”, there can only be two realistic possibilities, right?
Babe Ruth: The chase for = HR record, BIG = The Big Fella
Randy Johnson: The chase for = Chase Field, BIG = The Big Unit
Maybe with an outside chance at the Big Hurt, Frank Thomas? Can’t see how the chase clue applies however.

A card that everybody had last year would be very underwhelming for the collection reward. I could see the Big Unit being released!!

I am setting myself up for disappointment because I was cluing in on chase early on and had thoughts of Maris, Sosa, and McGwire all tiered. A dual threat Babe card would be pretty cool though.

Maybe they're releasing multiple cards, 1 for collecting an X amount of cards per program. And then maybe 1 final reward for collecting all those cards.

I always thought UNIT was one of those system sellers that they'd want to publicize before release.
On the other hand, the silhouette on the Legends & Flashback menu is of a LHP...

Signature Babe Ruth that has crazy pitching and hitting stats. 2 way monster. The signature cards represent a players entire career and ruth was both and can be represented with a two way signature player. The fact they released mckay as a two way headliner shows they are willing to give guys good two way stats.

Also fits the LHP silhouetteyou can't pinch hit with SP and you can't put them in the field at the start of the game, so being a 2 way player is pointless

It is starting to look a bit like Randy...although I still think pitcher would be an odd choice for this collection. Given what it will take to get him, I feel like it needs to be someone who plays every game.
Big Hurt would be extremely disappointing...but also a candidate.

I think they said in the stream last week that it was someone that everyone would want in their lineup. AKA not a pitcher. My money is on Babe, Aaron, Bonds, or, if they want to do something different, Josh Gibson.
Edit: Just thought of another one that seems likely - Big Mac.

I feel like if it's McGwire the collection is not worth it. There need to be multiple players - Babe, Maris, Sosa, McGwire, Bonds.

I don't think we see the McGuire/Sosa this season. If they have their rights they market them for next season.

If it’s McGwire, or Randy Johnson, I’m killing myself. I’ve barely played, flipped or collected cards this year and I’ve hardly completed any programs, nor do I have time to do so.
Imagine if they make it a sellable card though, like TA3. Lock in 600k worth of cards for a sellable card. Do you keep or market it at 1m stubs? -
