Is Stan the move?
-
I was planning on taking Maddux, but the Musial stats are too good to pass up.
-
None of these cards really overwhelm me or excite me so I think selling the card is the move unless it is needed for the chase collection
-
I'm pretty sure they most of the old legends the same swing. So Stan, Gehrig, Kaline, Wager etc. have the same swing, which is good in my opinion.
-
none of the 3 move the meter for me. ill pick whichever one is going for the most

The move is sell. None of these cards are end game.
Maddux will be good. Looks like a better Orel.
They all look good. Rollins would be my SS if not for CAP.
Maddux does not look like a better Orel. What makes Orel good is his delivery. Maddux is easier to pick up and has 4 MPH less on the sinker. I’m not saying Maddux will be bad but its impossible to replicate in this game what guys like Maddux or Rivera did in real life
-
My grandfather always said Stan "the Man" Musial was his favorite player, so that's the pick for me.
-
Likely sell and buy some other cards for my bullpen that need work. I love that POTM didi at SS right now and OF I'm currently using Mickey, Trout and Sheff. Considered moving Sheff to 3rd eventually and putting POTM Belli in RF whenever I get off my [censored] to get him for defensive improvement.
I may consider using Musial at 1B though until that SS Gehrig releases.
-
If I wasn’t such a Braves homer I’d pick Stan.
-
When I saw the leak my immediate choices popped into my mind as Maddux > Rollins > Stan.
After the stream last night: Stan > Maddux > Rollins.
Stan might replace Prestige Reggie in my god squad right field.

Maddux will be super easy to Prestige, giving him that little boost in speed on FB qnd slower on offspeed. I anticipate him being as good as Orel.
I think Prestige J Roll would be best pick, but i am bashing my own head in just trying to Prestige Eric Davis, no way i want to work this hard on another card.
Getting jammed with inside sinkers? lol. I swear nobody ever gives me anything to hit with ED at the plate. Frustrating taking 1,000 walks during the event.

Yes, i had a game where i swear everyone in my lineup got a hit, but ED was 0 for 3

I’d rather have an MVP card from a different Cardinals 1B.
1979 Keith Hernandez? No way... Give me Stan. /s
-
Who would you guys pick if you were me? Right now I'm leaning toward maddux.
My current rotation is marichal, smoltz, paxton, hershiser and palmer. At SS i'm starting Larkin. My OF is Walker, Mantle and Sheffield.
-
Stan for me
-
I would never play Stan in the outfield, so he pretty much has to play first which is already loaded. That said, his bat looks ridiculous.
I'm still picking Jimmy as a Phillies fan, and the card looks great. Speed kills in this game, and he has the power to drive a lot of balls deep in to the gaps.

It honestly looks very difficult to pass up on Stan with the maxed out contact and good power. As well as 1B secondary. Does anyone feel otherwise?
Beast mode at the plate last year. Better D this year. OF is stacked. I mash with Heyward. Having a hard time getting 99 Adel in
-
Stan is hard to beat, he can play OF or 1B, or be a solid bench bat. JRoll though is hard to overlook at SS but lots of guys use their CAP at short so that kind of diminishes the value there a bit. I built my CAP as a 3rd baseman after not being able to find one I like so JRoll will likely replace Correa who's been great for me at short. I'm a big Phillies fan too, went to alot of games as a kid in Philly as well as at their AAA affiliate in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre when they were the Red Barons so I'll pick him up for sure.
My OF is Belli, Mantle, and Walker and it's a hard sell for me to replace the great D and lefty hitting of Belli. I'd probably stick Stan at 1st and relegate Big Papi to Bench bat, which was kind of my plan for him all along... Though Papi has been solid at 1st and a great stick.
Maddux, I'm really interested to see how this 1 turns out... My gut tells me he might get lit up because of his lack of velo but I really hope I'm wrong.
