HRD Cano
-
This card is the best second baseman in the game. Not even close. .500 with 12 HRs in 36 ABs right now. Just as good on HoF as he is all star. You are missing out if you have not tried this card!
-
I killed with his SS last year. It’s tempting, but I just can’t take Biggio out. My lineup would be too lefty heavy as well.
-
98 carew is the best all around 2b available today. No one talks about that card.

Hitting wise might be best in game from my experience so far

I can’t hit well with Carew, what is your approach with him at the plate?

you know they say that different people hit better with different swings. In my opinion he has that lofty type swing like George Brett who I also rake with. it is weird because he has similar hitting attributes to Wade boggs and Tony gwynn who I do not hit well with. There's just something about his swing that the ball is constantly a line drive and always drops for hits. He also has quite a few home runs. I started him in the 8th spot just to try him out and he is now my leadoff hitter. I'm not sure what advice I can give you other than either his swing works for you or it doesn't. The home run Derby cano is a beastly hidden card but I just feel like carew's PCI size helps me more. Once they drop a 99 alomar I will probably have to use Carew on the bench as a pinch-hitter because I'm definitely not putting him at first base you always want power at first base and I'm waiting for that 99 Lou Gehrig because that swing also works really well for me in the past.

Yeah I rake with George Brett & Jackie. Also Alomar whenever his 99 version releases he will never leave my lineup.lol. And Lou Gehrig swing is amazing

SHH!! I put em at 1b.

He was my best hitter for awhile, still my fastest to about 30 HRS, but the last little bit in a slump with him, may switch him with Biggio for a bit..

Agree. I can't take Biggio out. In fact I sold HRD Cano last night so I can muster up the funds to buy 99 Eddie Mathews. I absolutely have raked with his 92 Revolution card so I figure I can hit even better with the 99.
-
Can’t get rid of 99 Jackie.

I agree with all except Jackie. I didn't do the grind for 99 Jackie this year because his swing always seems like a noodle and I tried using that gold card in conquest a couple times with the same results I just don't like the card I guess.

I've been blown away by the HRD Cano. He allowed me to sell off Zobrist and I don't think anyone will be able to overtake him... maybe Roberto Alomar? I don't know how or when we'll get that card so I think Cano is here to stay.

Yeah it’s funny, I can’t use Reggie or Buster Posey, yet I stroke with Tatis FOTF and Miggy....Al Kaline has been solid too

Cano is ridiculous. All he does it hit tanks.
