7 straight RS games vs a LHP - we should be able to adjust lineups based on our opponents pitching hand, also I’ve seen Paxton like 5 straight games

My favorite thing to do is open with a reliever. Go RHP/LHP depending on the majority handedness of the roster.

I always try to alternate my lineup L/R as much as possible.

My current lineup is R, R, L, R, L, R, L, R, P which I think my whole SP staff is right handed. I have a good mix of R and L on my bench and 2 or 3 lefties in my pen.

I used to have my pitcher batting 8th because I liked going against the grain but there were two games where I ended up with the pitcher batting 8th with 2 outs in my last inning while losing and no more guys to pinch hit them for so I ended up losing those games. One of those times I had the bases loaded.

I might look into getting some switch hitters if they don't cost too many stubs.

I actually faced Kluber two of the three games I played today and I ended up winning both of them. I usually got to him in like the 5th or 6th inning just waiting on that cutter to hit the right spot and timing to get the right swing. Users mostly just throw a bunch of cutters so I just try to sit and guess in a zone.

It's about being able to start a rally with the top of the lineup. I actually had it work out a few days ago where 9-1-2 won the game for me, but it's not a HUGE advantage statistically by any means.

Yes. I use an opener. This means on away games my opener is likely to go just one inning. Home games 2 innings. Get an extra AB early as well as in the late game.

Interesting strategy but i don't like the idea of burning a pinch hitter that early in a game, to each their own though

I rarely use more than 2. Now I use 3 and have McKay in the pen for emergencies.

This strategy works better in a 3 inning game when you want to put your weakest hitter at bottom and a PH in the 8 hole. IN RS, this shouldn't really help at all and actually will kill rallies if your 6 and 7 hitter gets on early in games.

The current system is far better than platooned lineups imo.

There's a method to who the computer uses. Since your Rotation is ordered by Highest to Lowest ranking, the cpu does the same for the matchup. Get to know your other team's pitching staff, then when you pick your SP you'll know who the cpu will use. For example, if you use your 3rd highest ranked SP/ #3 pitcher, the cpu will use their 3rd highest ranked SP. Then you can play your lineup to the pitcher's handedness.

I'll preface by saying I'm not good, and my lineup isn't helping no matter how I arrange it.
But with 99 Rollins coming I'll be inserting him at SS.

    LO. SS 99 Rollins SH
    2. CF 99 Mantle SH
    3. 3B 96 Chipper SH
    CU. RF 99 Jackson L
    5. LF 97 Carlson SH
    6. 2B 99 JRam SH
    7. 1B 95 Pablo SH
    8. C 96 Wieters SH
