So for my daily missions I have multiplayer 1 SP complete game, I pitched Burnett a full 9 innings but pinch hit in the bottom of the ninth, the game lasted 9 innings but he didn’t get credit for the CG? He pitched the maximum innings?

You need to complete the game. Pinch hitting him makes it null and void

You took him out of the game, has to be in to the end end. works like that IRL too.

Wow, you got ripped off, total bs if can’t pinch it him in the bottom of the 9th. How would that not be a complete game if he pitched 9 complete innings in a 9 inning game?

That’s not how it works for a pinch hitter in the 9th! Real life rule book states “A complete game is recorded when a starting pitcher finishes a game without leaving for a relief pitcher.” OP did this, and would be recorded as a CG in the box score.

Its a hard rule to interpret because almost never does a pitcher get pinch hit for and then the home team walks it off in the 9th. Only ever happened a handful of times in MLB history

Was the pitcher in the lineup when the game was completed?
Then it wasn't a complete game.
