I just played a guy in an event who liked to plunk my hitters after they reached a three ball count. He hit five of my batters throughout the game and paused in the second inning to add me as a friend and message to say I am boring AF.

I eventually won the game after he loaded the bases with hit batsmen and quit.

    Taking pitches is boring!

I played someone in RS last night who just wouldn't stop pausing the game. Just all the f'ing time. The game took over an hour. Justice prevailed though. Down by 1 in the 9th I scored to tie the game. He kept pausing every other pitch, every batter. I loaded the bases with two outs and he paused again. This time the clock ran out and that was the end of .the game haha.

HAHAHA. If you don't like taking pitches go play RBI baseball. Taking pitches is how you, as a hitter, force the pitcher to get into the zone and thus see more hittable pitches. Batting 101.

Exactly. Also, some jokers try to pause before crucial pitches when you have proven to be timing up their pitcher.

It’s pretty bush league as well.

Taking pitches is boring but it's the only way I can get rewarded consistently. Even though unfortunately it means often taking fastballs down the [censored]. Boring but necessary. I try to get the pitch count at 20 an inning cuz pitcher's confidence and energy matter way too much

Yeah, agreed. I try to take whatever I am not looking for. I only joked that it is boring because my opponent was annoyed by my not swinging at all his pitches out of the zone.
