At what point do you snatch up HRD players?

I just snatched up Cano for 40k which I had no problem parting with for one of the best second basemen in the game right now, besides my real stubs are with Trout as I wait for him to climb in price and sell him. Probably after a stub sale is announced. I could not be happier with getting Cano. I just need Alonso and I'll have all the HRD players I wanted.
Can i just say is Cano ever good. 10 at bats 3 homeruns and a double aready. I'm so happy i got him.

I almost sold cano for 80k this morning. Wish I did but he’s hitting .450 through 15 games with 12 HR. Perfect guy to slide in between mantle and Sheffield

I grabbed Cano for 42.7 as I didn't want to risk it. I thought they could drop to 35k-37k.

Cano seems like a steal at 40k. I don't expect him to drop much lower - perhaps 35k? - but why risk it? It's a card valued right about right where it is right now based upon released content and packs, and holds the opportunity to rise back up again under the right conditions.

By October, they'll be handing out HRD packs at the same rate as they're handing out BIAH packs now. At which point all the base-round players will be quicksell value and the rares 10-15K.

What if they included the HRD Griffey as part of a Griffey collect set? What if the HRD set was needed for a Honus Wagner set?

There is merit here. Right now, just the monthly collection is the only one you can't complete. I'd expect that once that drops, we'll get wind of the master collection.

I mean, they are going to keep dropping more free HRD packs all year. I would guess in a month the high tier are 15k or so.
