Has to be the worst show I’ve ever played

so I will say this im not amazing at the game slightly above average. Like maybe 15-20 games above .500, and yes the game is bad some of my losses shouldn't have happened but thats Baseball for you. Improbable things happen all the time. Early and Late swings don't mean a thing the only thing it will affect is where the ball is hit (i have played baseball for 20 years and I've personally hit HRs on balls i was way out in front of or way late on) it happens. But I still agree the game is way to RNG based. However you all have to remember SDS was on lock down just like all non essential workers and its very difficult to fix coding issues when communication isn't reliable. We had a lot of the same issues last year but they got fixed some what. And also im not a coder nor do I know anything about designing or coding a game however it seems like the amount of coding that would go into a game like this is drastically more complex and difficult than the coding for Madden or any other sports game. RNG has to be a thing because random stuff does happen in real life Baseball. This concludes my rambling for the evening lol have a great night/day and stay safe

Going along in a game shutting my opponent down, then the very late hits, choppers in front of the mound leading to runs and baserunners. Not allowed to throw towards a base with a runner stealing. Guy has THREE choppers that he swung over top of go for hits, and were automatically triples because I could throw on his steal attempts. He hit another chopper with a guy on third down the first baseline. Bellinger charged it and fields it cleanly. I press X, nothing happens. I press X again and he throws it, but it's too late, run scored. Then a home run on a pitch way out of the zone. I hate this game.

Everyone is ignoring clutch ratings. Clutch factors into 7th inning on and runners on base. Not many pitchers have a high clutch rating. A lot of batters have high clutch rating. So of course they will get more hits later on. It’s not comeback logic if it is clearly built into the game.
Maybe actually focus on all the stats on a card and not just contact/power and how mph a fastball is

Nah, maybe that could be a little of it, but the only version of this game that sucked more was 18.

I’ve accepted the rng aspects of the game. I’ll tell myself that I’m going to blow the lead in the 8th or the 9th, and that’s ok. What bothers me, though, is that I can’t get a consistent game play experience online. I can’t improve my timing on a fastball if the timing window fluctuates from fastball to fastball. I can go practice on legend all day long, but it just does not translate. I guess the fluctuating pitch speeds are from the connection quality between me and my opponent, so I don’t know how to fix it. I know some might argue that it’s just my perception and that pitch speeds don’t fluctuate so drastically, but I don’t feel that’s the case. I’ve played this game long enough to know (theoretically) when to swing for good contact. Or maybe I don’t. Who knows. All I know is that Im super late on some fastballs that I don’t “feel” late on, and sometimes I’m early on the same pitch that I don’t “feel” I’ve done anything differently on.
