Hitting is way to easy

Everyone I play hits .220 with their guys.. it’s not easy.

That’s really my post, it’s gotten so dumbed down that you can launch a well spotted fastball with mediocre bat placement out of the yard with Jackie Robinson. I can’t believe people like it being so simple but maybe I’m in the minority of wanting a challenge and not homerun derby.
Yes it is ... I play mainly franchise and even on legend level I’m getting 15-20 hits a game consistently sometimes more, the cpu is getting the same if not more... This version is arcade hitting baseball and it needs to be toned down! I can put in 19-18-17-16-15-14 and NEVER has hitting been so easy as it is now, especially on legend level which used to be way too hard in the older versions, now it’s slowly getting easier and easier ... fix the pitching accuracy and tone down the hitting...

If hitting I'd too easy for you, blame the community.. After more than a month of nonstop whining, SDS finally caved and gave them what they wanted. It was really awesome seeing everyone united in appreciation after the developers listened to feedback and addressed their complaints. Oh wait that's not what happened. Everyone just moved on and found something different to whine about.

Stop it. You're 38-28 with a batting average of .248
I hate to be that guy, but come on man.

Who the OP? Lol. If so then this was a frustration post and not a bragging one.

Stop playing the event

I must be missing something about hitting OP. My Ab's consist of me looking like a fish out of water.
-
OP is delusional AF. Probably referring to the Moonshot event because he's certainly not referring to hitting HOF/Legend

Hitting on AS is too easy

I would also love to see the crowds react like a real baseball game, not sure why that’s so hard to achieve ... Gameplay always number one, but it would sure be nice to have the game feel like a baseball atmosphere.... Baseball is a slow sport with moments of crowd noise, big play crowd noise, not constant cheering and jumping around for no reason... Would love to see the crowd go crazy on big plays, big moments, and then chill the “&@$” out in-between .... Like a real baseball game ...

Hitting against common pitchers in the event should be easy.
Ranked feels pretty good right now in all levels as far as hitting goes. Sometimes balls I hit on the money die out too early. My only gripe.
Gameplay has improved this year and hitting feels alright.

Can’t hardly even enjoy ranked anymore, barely play. Also I’m happy to play you if you think you’re up to it.

I play mostly with Phillies, I don’t load my lineup with every top rated player. I enjoy playing with cards I like rather than simply the highest rated card, so yeah maybe it’s a little harder getting hits with Rhys Hoskins rather than Jo Adell. It’s just not fun to me to rake all game, I’d rather a challenge than hang 7 runs with 5 homers, just doesn’t feel real to me.

regardless of who you have, your record is extremely poor to be speaking this way about hitting
for example - i don't consider myself an excellent player at all - my team is all earned and my BA is the same as yours except i'm 35-12 - i don't think hitting is easy at all otherwise i'd be hitting over .300

I would disagree that my record is ‘extremely poor’, let’s save that for the 14-30 guy. I merely expressed my opinion about hitting and that I feel as though it is not challenging enough, the team with the best avg in baseball last year was the Astros at .270. .300 is an arcade number that I really have no aspiration for in the style of game I play.
I’ve chased the best hitters the last several years and made World Series and such but always found I have more fun playing with players I like rather than the best attributes. If you think a guy with 75 contact is the same as someone with 122 than I’ve got nothing to say to that. You’re welcome to think hitting is challenging using every 99ovr you can have in your lineup I just don’t agree. Also pitching is wildly frustrating with the inconsistencies and lack of a real strike zone (clear strikes on the edges called for balls). -

There is no reason why the average in a fantasy baseball video game should be constrained to what a team had in the majors last year.
If you're playing with mostly Phillies, you have a .248 average, and you're complaining that hitting is too easy... do you want to hit .180? What exactly is your goal here? It seems like what you really want is for your opponents to have averages as low as you while they're using 99's up and down their line up.
You're not wrong about the hitting being screwy with poor placement resulting in a hit too often, and great placement being a lineout/flyout too often. That is a matter of RNG though, not hitting difficulty.

I hardly play ranked either, but I don't complain about the hitting being too easy.
If you feel like you've got something to prove and want to play, you let me know when. I'm on west coast time.

300 is not "arcade" though, as many players in real life hit 300 on a season - it marks terrific performance
you and I have a similar BA, it's around .250 in RS , most of which on AS games. nothing spectacular at all. you know what i mean?
i win based on my pitching - yes sometimes frustrating but overall you can be a deadly pitcher if you think smart - i have plenty of RS pitchers sub 1 ERA after tons of IP
