Well #1 hitting is so much easier, so pitching is harder, that is just because of the common pitchers, but #2 the game plays completely different. In the Event i was able to hit Alvarado FB at 102mph, but played a RS game and could not catch up with Hal 98mph.

I was playing as good as I ever have for a while during the righty event, went like 30-5 at one point, had a 9 win BR for the first time, and was playing great in ranked. Then the southpaw event kicked in and I stopped being able to hit anything, anywhere for a week.

this sounds exactly like me lol

In the 500-600 range of RS, I was smacking the ball everywhere. Went into the event last night and scored zero runs on 1 hit in the first 2 games.

The event forces impatient behavior at the plate, and because of common pitching, forces more RNG outcomes in favor of the pitcher.

From my experience, I'd say stay with one of the other, and don't mix both during the same play session.

Personally, I'm in favor of elimination of events and creation of offline grinding for the same rewards. If I want a HR debry, there's a mode for that. I don't need to do online games for the satisfaction of smacking the scoreboard against commons.

Personally, I hate the moonshot events from a gameplay perspective. It’s a crapshoot. But, it’s great for grinding innings and hits for those of us that fall asleep playing conquest.

Same here

I haven't even been brave enough to try RS since the Moonshot events started. When the first one started, I had just unlocked the gold Jackie card. Last night I finally got the SS Jackie, what a grind! Also got to 300 stars, got Larry Walker. Productive evening.

If I can now just prestige Chipper, it will be time to jump back into RS.
