Unpopular opinion

Nationals rewards should not be expos. Collection reward? Expo. TA3 reward? Expo. I think Andre Dawson and Vlad should be in the game as headliners or WS rewards, but they shouldn’t be rewards for doing stuff for the nationals. I want a good Zimmerman or a flashback Bryce Harper, Stephen Strasburg, or Max Scherzer, not guys who were never Nationals.
I also understand that the TA3 guys were all legends and not flashbacks, so it would be tough to find somebody good and retired from the Nationals, considering they sucked for a lot of their existence and have only been around since 2005.
But anyways, I think Vlad and Dawson have their place in this game, I’m just tired of nationals rewards being non-nationals.

Vidro played 8 years in Montreal and started his career there. Sledge....hardly worthy of being in the game. 4 year career....first year was 2004 with the Expos.

Baerga...is a stretch and a half. Played his very last year as a Nat so technically could qualify as a non-expo Legend but be hard to see him as anything outside of a CLE card.

The Expos are cooler than the Nats anyway.

What kind of numbers did Brad Wilkerson have? Don’t know much about him except seeing him play against my Bravos back in the day.
Who was the catcher back in the day? May have also played with the cubbies at one point? Barrett?

Edit: Barrett couldn’t really get a good Expos card. He won his silver slugger with the cubs, not Montreal.

agree to disagree, personally i think Expos fans should be able to grind for a card instead of having to pay hundreds of thousands of stubs for a card if they can't get to WS.

Nationals have been around 14 seasons. There are no retired legends who were a Nat and not an expo. There will be (Stras, Scherzer kind of) but it's early. Expos are your team's history, plain and simple. And they have quite a few greats

I acknowledge all that you’re saying, but an Alfonso Soriano (one of the great seasons of all time) or Jayson Werth would be pretty cool as an exclusively Nats fan. I’m not saying they’re the best of the best, but there were some really solid nationals, that weren’t expos, that are now retired
