I really hope Showdown is SDSs take on Weekend leagues from EA games. 7 week long seasons are to long, we need an alternative mode.

Hoping "Full Minor League Rosters" will also include real minor league ballparks. Would love to see Oklahoma City's Bricktown Ballpark, home of the AAA Dodgers, in the game.

Perhaps the new trade hub allows trades at any point in the season (within the MLB rules of course).

That shouldn’t change - on twitch as always and now Facebook live and YouTube.

Every livestream is broadcasted on Twitch, Facebook Live and Youtube in 4k. You can watch on the PlayStation 4 via the Youtube or Twitch aps.

Matty V is entrenched, I like Matt but part of me would love hear Daniel Shulman or Bob Costas.

I wish that The show would do a mode where you code be the umpire. Maybe do it as RTTS type mode, where you could work your way up based off your performance. No sports games has done this. Being a huge fan of the show, and an amateur college, high school and little league umpire for 25 years, I’ll think this might help the problem we are having with parents and others in the stands. Most of those who are the loudest have never officiated a game in their life. This would start showing kids and adults, just how hard it is to be a good sports official. I know it will never happen, but it would be VERY cool if they did. Maybe I will design a officiating game for smartphone to cover all the major sports. If there is a game designer reading this HMU. I think one of the all-time negative things about the show is the lack of true umpire movement and graphics, no rotations, they don’t expand the crew in the playoffs, and there should be more ejections. I remember MVP baseball use to give your team a boost if they felt the ejection was warranted and it would cost u if you embarrassed your club. Suspensions would be based on what choices and actions happens during arguments, we also need bench clearing brawls. It’s all part of the game.

This is an interesting angle! It would be a lot of dev work but I’m curious about how it would play out to play as umpire.

If I may, a direct quote from Costas's 2000 book "Fair Ball"
" teams like Kansas City and Minnesota can no longer even hope to compete."
Since he made that statement, the Twins have been to the playoffs 8 times. And the Royals have won the title.
In fact, since he wrote his book, every single MLB team has made the playoffs at least once. EVERY ONE.

I don't want to believe they would make all these great changes and completely ignore commentary and presentation. That would be an epic fail. Hearing the exact same lines over and over from the previous 3 to 5 years? No thank you
