I mean, you say "It's an event game that means nothing", and yet you seem to be upset/mad over an event game.

It goes against the spirit of the event. That’s what I’m trying to convey. Does it really matter if you lose one of these event games?

If it was against the spirit of the event, the cards wouldn't be eligible...

The only reason why I care about losing event games is because I hate having to reset my roster after two losses.

No losing doesn't matter, but it also doesn't really matter if your opponent brings in a righty. I don't use righties just because I'm too lazy to edit my lineup, but it's allowed, it's in the rules

Appealing to the "spirit of the event" is the same as when people get mad over the "unwritten rules" in real life, it's a silly stance.

This. I have never understood why that can’t just save your roster for the next entry. I believe it used to do this a couple versions ago.

op can't hit righties? blame yourself. People just following the rules. No need to get butthurt cus you can't hit rightie on rightie. Let me guess, you want your opponents to just throw you meatballs down the middle?

Bro let’s be real. We all operate our daily lives with “unwritten rules”. It’s what keeps the world spinning and society in check. Could I dig deep into my pitching rotation and pull all common righties? Sure. I don’t do it because it’s a d bag thing to do. We’re all here for the competition and the fun of the event. The fun is blasting lefties with your right handed batters. Do I need to hold the door for someone behind me? No. Do I do it because it’s the right thing to do? Yes.

Comparing using right-handed or left-handed pitchers in a video game to holding a door for someone in RL is a ginormous stretch. They aren't related.

People play the game for different reasons, some people just want the wins so they don't have to play anymore event. Not everyone plays for the same exact reason you do and expecting them to conform to what you believe is "right" is foolish.

There was a glitch where if a player got upgraded from Gold to Diamond or whatever he would still be in you lineup circumventing the overall cap. I think this is why they removed it.

I know...you’re a stud. You’re missing the point I’m trying to make. It’s called the moonshot event for a reason. I wouldn’t even know where to look to dig that deep into my rotation to find 6 common righties. If you’re trying that hard, it’s on you bro. I seriously could care less about winning an event game. I’ve lost plenty trust me. But I trot out the dog John Means in the spirit of the event.

Legit complaint. I mean, hitting with an all diamond squad against all RH group of common pitchers is so f@#$&n hard. Makes me so [censored] mad I can hardly stand it!!! Jesus!

If you can’t hit a “moonshot” With your all diamond lineup vs a common, you’re the one with the problem

It feels great to drop a 5+ spot in the first on someone using Brusdar Graterol.

You’d think by now some sort of a “Copy Last Roster” function would be in place.

Personally I love when people use a righty. It’s a COMMON. The only people whining about it are the people who suck. Facing a common in any event game is a gift.

Common pitchers. Seems like they went all in on the moonshot spirit to me. They still get rocked dude. Good practice if you cant do it on all star against a common, how in the hellofits are you gonna do it against kluber?
