Not to be petty but not all Canadians are Blue Jays fans. This is a pet peeve of mine. I live in Vancouver and yet they sell Jays merch at the airport. Grrrr.

Yeah, sorry man. It’s a big trigger for me. Once or twice a year, Safeco gets filled with Jays fans singing O Canada and doing the wave.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m super grateful to be Canadian, especially at times like this, but it’s embarrassing to have a horde of Tragically Hip fans invade your home park and cheer against you.

Hey, Seattle has always been my 2nd fav team, thanks to Junior, growing up. Especially after the Jays fell apart following the strike year. -

I don’t have anything against the Hip. I saw them at the Moore Theatre in Seattle in the 90’s (or maybe it was the Paramount) and a large percentage of the audience had come down from Vancouver and were drunkenly singing O Canada the entire show. It was embarrassing and annoying.
Imagine going to see Soundgarden at Air Canada Center and having 80% of the audience chanting USA and singing the Star Spangled Banner.
