Why are so many foul balls crushed for would-be HRs?
-
I swear the best contact I ever get is on foul balls. I'd say anywhere from 60-70% of the time they would be no-doubters if they just stayed fair. And I'd probably have about 500 more HRs to my totals. Lol
But I still don't understand why a good majority of the time foul balls are hit with way more pop than a squared up pitch sent to the warning track.

I have often thought this as well.

Ya it's just an animation though....have u watched the replay of where they go...it just shows it going to over field level seats and then dissapears...

It seems the game rewards u with power the more u pull a pitch. I think that is why

Thanks captain obvious

Generally when you pull the ball doesn't have the trajectory of having to go as far because of the stands being closer than it going over the wall.. so it looks as though it's crushed when a ball hit to dead center about 410 feet would be farther even if it goes just over the wall

Because it makes u feel like your close or right there on becoming good at the game. It's just a marketing ploy

I hit more warning track shots with 85+ power guys than foul homeruns It’s annoying . I just lost where I hit 6 warning track balls, other dude has 1 hit and then in the bottom of the 9th he magically starts hitting it
