I’m seeing quite a lot of negative exit velocities on good/good type swings.
I know there was some explanation on this recently. I’m having a hard time accepting the results though.
Example: low diamond Gary Sheffield good/good swing on 98 mph pitch from common LHP Justus Sheffield resulting in 91 mph exit velocity routine fly ball. I realize Gary has only 61 power vs left, and first pitch swinging probably works against him as well.
Am I alone in finding that disappointing?
Like does the fact that he has 61 power make physics work differently?
