Really a scummy move to add a tier that will kill the value of the former high tier cards. This is now th sig pack from last year where those mid tier cards were 40k right from the start.

Why is that scummy? Just don't buy the pack.

TBH, we saw this coming. The moment the odds were released and the type of pack it was advertised at. Having an elite round should be ZERO surprise.

It’s obviously a surprise since the former high round cards are still selling at 60k and the original 1:4 round wasn’t called “mid-tier”. This is nothing more than a real shady stub grab, since many people wouldn’t have bought the packs at all if they knew a high round was coming (for the record I didn’t buy any nor will I).

    Okay, Ramone.

Literally nobody predicted an elite round.

I think this is cool love new cards being added plus the market crash will be great.

Anyone upset with this has to realize by now that of you jump in on something when it first releases you will always pay more and lose more stubs in the long term. My game plan all year has been sit on the side lines and wait for the dust to settle and so far it has worked to perfection.

Ok. Here's another prediction. The sun will rise tomorrow.

Last year's SS pack came out at the same time with the same tiers and same odds. Yes, it was sneaky to start it with 2 instead of 3, but don't act surprised. Nobody should be fooled here.

So basically get 50k for Wade Boggs now if you're not really using him correct?

Better sell any cards you have from these now and if you really like them, buy them back Friday.

Better act quick all Rare teir cards have fallen below 60k on the buy now orders. This will likely continue to fall even further as we get closer to Friday and more reveals are shown

I had a few low tier cards thinking they'd go up closer to the pack cost if they pulled the off the market for a little while. I was just able to sell them all for around 21k each. They're dropping more as we type.

Anyone who has played multiple years knows that these specialty packs either get added to or made easily obtainable eventually and the prices always plummet, it's the cost of grabbing early. I'm looking forward to the market crash

It's going to be great, going to push some showdown hard and finish up some stage 1s past the 50 market to get stubs as some of thos earily HL should fall below the 15k mark

So what do you feel are "bottoms out" prices for these cards in the interest of having a beefy collection for a Honus like program later?

I'm in a great position as a 1st year player (nms too which doesn't matter) where I have Mantle, 425k stubs and I have another payday coming at prestige 45/90+ ls diamond.
