Game "forgot" me, it seems... anyone else?

A few days ago, maybe a week ago now, I logged on to be greeted by the screen for a new player opening the game for the first time. I had to re-do various settings like my favorite team, my preferences for batting, pitching, and fielding, etc. This happened on about five or six consecutive logins, though it seems to have resolved itself at this point.
A short while ago, I noticed that not only did the game seem to forget that I've played many hours of The Show, somehow every single music file that I've uploaded over the months is now gone. This isn't too big of a deal as I have them all saved on a USB drive. The only real annoyance there in terms of major inconvenience is that for many of the songs and clips I had taken the time to set Sounds of the Show, as in setting different sounds by the start time in the file(s). I'm not re-doing that, I don't think.
Anyway... anyone else had this happen to them?

One of the greatest songs of the 1980s. My "class song" from high school, actually... and probably thousands of other HS in the USA. I'm told that it's played over a long display of photos of my graduating class at reunions, though I don't know that for certain as I've never been to a HS reunion.

Our class didn’t even have a reunion. Probably the worst class ever
