Are you going to have the audacity to display it at your ballpark? As if you're true world champs? Champions don't cheat. You guys are disgusting. It's not even the fans or the whole organization, it's who was in on it and doing the cheating which is all the players and managers that season. Disgusting. Nobody stepped in and said this is wrong? Sad. I say you take that trophy melt it down and donate whatever it's worth to charity.
I hope the Astros are booed all year long at every ball park. You sure will when you come to Anaheim and you see tons of Dodger fans. It won't make up for what you guys have done but were going to let you know what we think of you.
I feel sorry not only for the Dodger fans but more for the veteran guys like Kershaw, turner, and jansen. Those guys dedicated their whole life to the sport and it took them many years to get to a world series. Then to get cheated. Disgusting.

I know MLB can't take away the trophy b/c of the ripple effect. But i think the Commissioner could if finding players guilty in participation they could implement a ruling that says "if they make it to the playoffs for the next 5 years it goes to the team in the division with next best record."
And take it a step further if any of those said players were to be traded whatever team they got traded too would not be able to utilize them in the playoffs for same said amount of time.
Which ultimately would lead to teams not being interested in trading for them meaning they were stuck not seeing any type of postseason for 5 years. That is what i would do or ban them indefinitely!
This is America's game and integrity of the game should not be overlooked!

I get it. Y’all have every right to say what y’all wanna say about my beloved Stros - and due to their actions & behavior, I will have to just sit here and take it. All the boos, signs, threats, increased “F*** Altuve!” chants, etc.
Sigh...so be it. It’s an extremely dark time for baseball and my Stros, but I will stand by them and simply hope they can earn some redemption for all this down the line, but how long that takes will remain to be seen...
But, I guess, just gotta deal with onslaught of insults & boos everywhere the Astros go...for the now, at least.Sigh...

How do you think the Astros fan base will react to this? I’m a huge dodger fan, but I worry about throwing stones here. Because, you never know how widespread this kind of stuff was. The bummer is that those guys are so good that they might not have needed to cheat. Anyway, do you think it will cause diehards to check out for a while? If the Astros win 100 games this year will there still be the excitement that there was last year?
I think this will be the end of this version of the Astros. New manager and brass are going to just be different. Altuve or Bregman might be able to stay around long enough to be contenders again. But, I think it will take a while.
Or I’m wrong and they win 110 games and tell everyone outside of Houston to deal with it. I don’t think so though.

Lifelong giants fan here, and I genuinely feel bad for the Dodgers. They got Cora’d two World Series in a row. Its ridiculous that no players were disciplined over this. That’s the power of the union, I guess.

MLB gave immunity to the players to get them to tell the truth in the investigation. So it's really on Manfred.
Then the investigation reveals it was a "mainly player driven" scheme, but none of the players can be punished. SMH!

I think it’s awesome that opposing players aren’t keeping quiet about it. What Clevinger said in his little interview snippet was great. Hood justice
