Release cards instead of fixing the game. This is getting annoying, we love content but allow it to be viable in the game
False equivalency, they aren't releasing cards "instead" of fixing the game. Content team and gameplay teams are two different things.
They may be 2 different teams, but the optics are still bad. It’s a distraction from the real issues to sell stubs. We have enough samey cards already that don’t make a line up, and yet we are getting more cards. The GAAS motto, if all else fails create FOMO to distract the masses.

So they should stop all content and just let the content team do nothing since the game isn't completely fixed? I'm sure that will fix everything.
Putting the card releases on pause would be silly because it doesn't fix the issues, and makes them less money. They are a business and that's not how businesses work. Why make a whole section of your team just not do anything?
I'm not happy with a lot of things regarding MLB 20, but I don't care how many cards they release because whether they do it or not, it has no effect on fixing the game.

The first one is Andrew McCutchen
https://youtu.be/NnYIyWP5UrUI hope this is the start of a huge influx of juiced flashbacks or Legends. I was actually on board with the FS for a while but I’m ready for real big leaguers.
This is basically the same as his SS card last year, which I really liked.
I wonder how badly this will crash the market. If it’s at all like the first round of sig series packs in 19 then a lot of cards will become very affordable very fast.

I'm wondering the same myself and debating on whether I want to sell a couple cards, I don't need the stubs, but It'd be nice to buy them back cheaper. I think it really depends on what Cutch is, if he is just a base round card, that pick will be insane,

Please give us Mattingly MVP.

I have to assume he’s a base round, right? They wouldn’t lead with the big boys I don’t think.
EDIT: but that would be insane if a 97 was the base round. So who knows.
I know a lot of people complained about too many good cards that were released too early in 19... I am definitely not one of those people. I hope they start putting out some heavy hitters soon. Even the bosses have been very bland so far.

Looking forward to the market crash that will follow once these drop
For live Series cards? Honest question -- why would this tank market? And if I'm holding diamonds waiting to sell (Acuna, Freeman, Alonso, Morton) should i sell now? Trying to do AL and i need Verlander and Cole for the most part.

People will be selling those cards for dirt cheap, just trying to get enough stubs for the packs as fast as they can. It isn’t very smart, but it always happens.

So basically sell now, hold stubs, wait to buy low is what you suggest?
I've been staying market relative holding the cards until i can actually pull the trigger on Cole.

Maybe you should sell now, maybe you shouldn’t. It’s up to you.

Good chance it affects everything. I have no concrete evidence to say it will tank the market but last year when the Sig pack was.release it cause a good dip in the market occured

I am waiting to buy dibble u til Friday he’s been over 100 for a hot min, I assume an elite sp and reliver will be in the packs also. And just generally tank most cards as people are scrambling to get stubs as per SS packs last year

If we don't have a stub sale by Tuesday, then I'd sell. Prices might go up a bit on silvers and up with a stub sale and the psn*(edit) sale starts on the 2nd.
