Rollie - McCovey

Just hit 60 Gold on the XP path not sure who to take. At 1b right now i'm using Derrick D he's doing ok so far in 2 - 3 games. I also have Helton Stargell Giambi ect but don't really do well with Helton or Giambi. Sometimes I use Bellinger at first as well anyway my Cap is a CP and I plan on doing Eck moments when I get him so not sure.

60k worth of stubs as well if that helps?

Rollie is very good to have in the pen. Sounds like you have a couple options at 1b. Bullpen arms are rare and he’s a good one

Rollie is a beast for me. 2-0 with 15 saves and a 0.24 ERA.

Lots of 1b options right now just try out a few different players till you find one you hit will with. FOTF Olson is a beast and is free I would put him ahead of Pops Helton and Deitrick. I hit better with Giambi.
Agree if used right Rollie is a beast. Use offspeed to pick up the K's and then switch it up and sinker up and in. Gets weak contact or a K.

mccovey swing feels weird this year.

Rollie is a mainstay all year. McCovey is not.. unless you're an 80 year old Giants fan. At which point I'd say, isolate yourself!

I had a lot of trouble with Mccoveys swing.

Yeah I was leaning towards rolling anyway but heard McCovey was really good. Btw just packed Bellinger in the Headliners so that 60 is now 200k
