Honestly I think a lot of the hardcore whiners are in their 30s man. About once a year there is a âwhat is your ageâ post and the overwhelming majority of the regular posters are 30-50

I would be curious to see a "have you played high school ball or higher" post for the people who work at SDS. I know a couple of gaming programmers and all they played was rec ball.

I'm not happy with SDS, not one bit. No Braves cards were released today, SAD!! I know some will argue that since Hamels is on the team currently he should count, but he has yet to throw a meaningful pitch in a Braves uniform. If the season starts maybe I will change my mind.
We miss the great Joe Mauer, the lack of new Braves cards has me looking for a new outlet!!

I would be curious to see a "have you played high school ball or higher" post for the people who work at SDS. I know a couple of gaming programmers and all they played was rec ball.
Itâs a video game, itâs designed by nerds not athletes. You want the guy that played ball all his life and fell short to come make your baseball game? Or the guy thatâs been using computers his entire life. You certainly arenât going to find a guy that almost made the big leagues but quit to pursue his passion of making video games.

Especially with covid-19 happening, thereâs more important things going on in the world than complaining about Correa & the Astros. But guys complaining about a Virtual baseball card in a video game(Carlos Correa) POTM version. And complaining about the 2017 Houston Astros. Itâs like groundhogâs day whenever Houston is brought up. I guess everyone is perfect and no one is deserving of second chances. Itâs so tiring hearing the same thing over and over again. I accepted their apologies, & I think itâs better for everyone if we could just move on. Iâm not defending what they did at all. I can agree with everyone on that. But as the old saying goes...âif you have nothing good to say, donât say anything at allâ. And at least my Detroit Tigers lose the right way!
LolThey haven't let Charlie Hustle in the HOF yet! The asstros broke the rules and got off light.

Yes, I highly doubt anyone at SDS played competitive baseball. That's why I wish there was a post about it. But, you'll be surprised how many baseball guys went to a great computer engineering school. Too bad they didn't get a degree in it.

There are things in life that do deserve a second chance. Disrespecting the game of baseball and cheating the world series (and who knows how much of the season or previous seasons) is NOT something that deserves a second chance. You cheat on your wife and get caught, that deserves a second chance.

LolYo I was born on Groundhog Day so the slander stops right there lol. But in all seriousness, Covid sucks, I work in a grocery store so Iâm experiencing a new normal most people arent. Shoutout to the medical professionals for all their hard work. The politicians handling this issue have all been changing face about the whole thing but thatâs what those people do. THE ASTROS SHOULD NOT EVEN BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE FIELD IN 2020 FOR THEIR TREACHEROUS CHEATING WAYS. STRIP THE TITLE, POSTSEASON BAN. Donât care what happens to the players cuz theyâll get hit enough times to have their careers derailed. Content wise it doesnât matter, there are cards that are available and SDS did what they could.

Hopefully we donât see it, it would just be another reason for the haters to bash them if they did and it didnât meet expectations.
Baseball âs baseball, whether youâve played rec for two years or professionally for 20, you still get enough of a feel for it to make a game out of it. From there, research would be enough - watching games, analysing plays, physics, feedback from players when it comes to the mo-caps and animations... The hardest part is to get it play out as it should when itâs all put together into a play, or a game. And that play satisfying each of the gameâs 800,000+ players.
