Not even mad, just at a loss

One of those games where you feel like what else am I supposed to do. Lose the game 3-1 which is fine, you win some you lose some. But through the course of the game I felt like I was executing and doing the things that needed to be done without the results following.

So after the game I looked at the hit label which I almost never do and decided to just break down some numbers. I counted label type from 7-10, I out hit the guy I was playing 29-15 in that regard and on 8 and above 20-7. Also I struck him out 20 times to only striking out three times however every hit he had was a solo homerun.

Like I said, I’m not mad or don’t think the game has it out for me but as a gamer how else are you supposed to win a game if all of that results in a loss? On with the grind I suppose.

Nah. 1 game is not small with those stats. RNG is boosted to the lower ranked team. How can I beat someone ranked 150 points higher than me then lose to someone 75 points lower than me? Both games were comeback wins in the 9th.

That shouldn’t be the case. If he out smashes the guy 3-1, he should win. If the guy strikes out 20 times, he’s not a good hitter and shouldn’t be rewarded. RNG knew it and adjusted accordingly to help the guy who couldn’t touch the ball 75% of the time.

Not when the objective in most DD modes is to string together consecutive wins.

That’s exactly what it felt like, and it’s not just this one game but this was so glaring I just took 5 minutes at the end of the game to make sure I wasn’t going crazy. If anyone doubts it they can look at game history, it’s the last one on there. I also had 3 10’s with Juan Soto and all were outs.

Nice to know there's others who see what is right in front of their eyes. SDS isn't even subtle with their manipulation - it's MTX exploitation 101 on every front.

It's why you see 100 "THANK YOU SDS!" or "complain about the complainer" paid threads on reddit (labeling) and why everything is RNG rather than input-based ("Make sure your games aren't too skill based... you don't get people to pay you because there's no reason to").

Sadly I have to agree with you. I just wish I could play a good sports video game with good simulation. But now all that is out there is companies that make their game to get people to buy backs and spend money rather than genuinely enjoy the game.

Just played a series in franchise mode where these similar results throughout three games he had about 55+ SO to my 35 Ks I'm hitting good/okay on majority of the hits soon as I miss a good pitch release over the middle it's perfect/perfect or good/good(ozzie albies vs Walker buehler) it's a screamer home run

I'm just not liking where the game is we both play on the same tv I'm on the main profile hes on the guest The consistency from hitting results just isn't there and it's really a turn off playing the game when I'm hitting with Cody bellinger Good/good(ball in core of PCI) and it's only 96 to centerfield

From a pure gameplay perspective, 2K is pretty good. I'm sure there's DDA to a certain extent but it's nearly not as blatant as MLBTS.
