I think the most fun I've gotten was the people who would cuss me out when I refused to quit the event when it was 6 inning games. They'd say something like "Nobody wants to play a 6 inning game, so can you quit?" or some garbage like that. Then, they'd resort to the least creative of name calling when I told them I was just on to play the game.

That is horrible advice. You cannot just give in to these Gen Z guys and give them everything they want. Just because they dont want to face a lefty, or play at that stadium, or face your team full of whatever, or face whatever pitcher you have starting. If they sign up to play they sign up to play. Dont let them choose the exact scenario they want. You cannot do that in baseball and [censored] sure shouldnt be able to do it in the game. These guys need to stick vs CPU if they want to choose everything set up the way they want it.

I did find a magic guy one timeZ instea did quitting he got so mad he extended the game by letting me hit inside the park homers over and over lololol. Got a few FOTF missions done that wayZ finally quit when it was 30-0 in the 4th and I started intentionally striking out

Sucks, but if someone is already convinced they will lose to you and you make them play, they are gonna do everything to make that game painful. Even when you do win the game, it's not gonna feel like one.
Also to clarify, I'm referring to friendly quits when the game first starts, not when they are down a run or more.

Sure but the dude who didn't want to play you isn't interested in taking his loss like a man and will let his boohoo be known in making your game experience a crappy one.
Honestly its hard to tell. Even if the FQ comes after the guy being down some runs, he could still try to make your win as shitty as possible

Had a guy decide to watch a replay of his two run HR Saturday which came in the top of the first. Think I ended up with 6 HR's in a 12-3 win and watched every one of them.
I get a lot fewer friendly quit requests since I tanked my RS record and quit out like 30 games so far.
I literally get a FQ offer every game. I haven't played RS all that much but I'm 17-1, prestige level 68 and I got the 12-0 banner with goat bat skin. Nobody wants to play when they see either one of those things it seems. If I would accept every FQ, I'd never play a game before I reach WS.
While I get loving the flair, but you could just take them down and “blend in” and you would not get as many fq’s. The record itself isn’t as intimidating as the rest of the things you mentioned. Often times I don’t even look at record to avoid preconceived notions as we all have good days and bad, slumps and streaks.

I take that as motivation to prove they made a mistake and I actually beat the first 3 I mentioned, only took the L against McGunski, while the 3 players I mentioned before him are probably better than me as well. But that's what the game should be about, accepting the challenge and rise above yourself.

If a person starts a game, they should play the game. If they wish to leave the game, they should quit and take the L. If the game is 5 innings in and a team is winning but that person has to go take care of something in reality...they also should quit. You don't without playing the whole game. There are totally viable reasons for needing to leave a game early, but not really a single one that warrants another person saying, "Ok...let's let this not count."
I've even gotten messages where someone says something like, "Hey, I have an emergency I have to go take care of." I typically just ignore it and keep playing, and they don't quit...so either they lied or they don't know what an emergency actually is.
Moral of the story...a lot of people who play online are just trash people.
Ironically, based on what you just said, you could be one of them.
There’s plenty of reasons for a FQ. Some brilliant players like to choose an mlb park in full sun to play in.
Maybe a kid woke up crying or a spouse needs something.
It’s a video game. Sometimes real life demands attention.

Hey man I get it , and I agree with you. I was just saying in regards to you not enjoying getting all the FQ’s and attitude towards not accepting. It might be good to take them down until you get to 800’s you might avoid the nonsense more. More power to you for keeping them up too, but you have to own the responses from people feeling beat before they play and acting like little beaches. Knowing it’s wrong and childish dosent make it stop, you can mitigate it w minimal effort. As those players don’t see your accomplishments as a positive they see it as a brag.

You're right. There is an upside to it as well though. When I'm able score 4 or 5 runs in the first 3 innings, my opponents usually throw in the towel and straight up quit, saving me a bunch of time. I don't want to give that up either.

I accept and send fq when we have same pitcher pitching I hate that. Only other time I send friendlies is when it's Polo or MLB stadiums. If they accept or not it's all good.
If life happens to my opponent then they should just quit out. Just like I would. If my daughter wants to talk to me I'd rather do that then play a video game. IJS -

Bro literally before these 2 games I accepted 4 friendly quits. I'm only ranked close to 700 because I played under 20 RS games so far but my record, banner and bat skin makes people not wanna play me until I reach WS where people don't care about that stuff. What am I supposed to do?
Accept 2 more and move on.

I agree with this. I sometimes offer a FQ to top players if I'm not in the mood for a sweaty. They sometimes get declined and I'll be motivated to prove them wrong for the entire duration of the game. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Either way there is always something to take away from playing someone who's better than you are.
So why can you offer a FQ for whatever reason, but someone can't offer you one?

Oh no dear sir, you got it all wrong. Anyone can offer a friendly quit. That's not the problem. It is up to the other party to accept or decline though, you don't hold that power by yourself. The difference is that I don't get upset and toxic when mine get declined and these people are.

If you're prestige 68 it's probably not the skins, and all that stuff they don't know about yet. They're asking to quit because of the incredibly OP team you're likely trotting out there for May 19.
