I guess I’m too trash for online. I can hit 102 on practice mode while on legend, but when it comes to 102 by bob feller on all star I can’t hit at all. I used to make World Series the last 2 years but I guess that wasn’t anything special. Is it because I’m playing on a TV that I’m at a huge disadvantage?

Possibly...do you feel like some games 102 is manageable and other time it feels like it’s coming in at 150?
I’ve noticed this and the only thing that makes sense is latency that is affecting this game worse than it has in the past

It may be partly that but it may also be the connection.
I recently got a TV with less input lag and it helps for sure, although I haven’t faced Feller since, and I know what you are talking about.

I think it’s a latency issue, not a tv issue. My biggest gripe is that 102 in all all star offline and 102 online shouldn’t differ. It’s too difficult to adjust to speed and timing windows across all of the modes.

Monitor or modern TV in game mode will help, playing laggy games, playing away games in MLB stadiums and facing opponents who are geographically distant will cause problems in my own personal experience.

Latency....big issue for me this year, but ive never played b4 when the world is all online all the time

I started dd last year and I was on the cusp of being a CS player. This year in the first 2 sessions I’ve been on the cusp of CS , getting as high as 798 but I lose so oh well. But I can admit that this years game is horrible now.

Oh yeah. If I play a road game, particularly at a mlb stadium, I cannot touch a 98+ fastball. Newhouser is unhittable to me on those scenarios and I’d hate to see the 102 guys. It’s super frustrating. If I play a guy that throws fastballs that much at a minor league or at home, I hammer the dude.
