Quitters

Its a three inning game, if I go down by more than 1 early my chances of coming back are low. I see it as saving both of us the time of dragging it out.
-
Since the middle of last year when I started really sucking. I made a rule this year that I couldnt care less how many losses I have or what my record is. And the way this game plays... I have zero shame in quitting early. And don’t blame anyone else for it either.

The game is more fun when you take it for what it is, a game

Bottomline, people can quit if they want, and you're nobody to tell them otherwise. Facts.
No, that’s your opinion....Fact.
Swing and a miss slugger. Once again you are wrong. What he said is an actual fact. "People can quit if they want"-Factual statement.
"And you're nobody to tell them otherwise" -Another factual statementLearn what an opinion is and then learn about baseball

Well it is a fact. There is no punishment for people quitting so you are not winning
Don't worry about him...he is a troll

I get very annoyed when people quit. I was in a ranked season's game a few days ago and we had a great game going. It was 0-0 in the 6th and then I hit a solo HR. His next at bat he gets a few hits and forces my starter out. He doesn't score but has a little momentum. Next at bat for me, he strikes my first 2 batters out. My next guy hits a double and then my opponent just quit. I was very confused as to why he quit.

It isnt really an opinion. SDS has the button called "Quit", because it allows people to quit. They arent going to punish someone for doing what they have the option to do. If that was the case then maybe we need to punish guys who use certain hitting options or fielding options. Wouldnt make sense. Plus like others have mentioned. I dont want to sit and grind every event win, BR win, and sometimes RS win against someone that has no heart and isnt into the game after they get down a run or 2. There are a lot of youngsters that play this game and lose focus very easy. Imagine having to play a 9 inning game against some poutty kid that is mad because he went down 4-0 in the first and has no confidence in himself. That game would be HELL.
-
You do not want this. It is like this in 2K and you're forced to play out tedious, boring, long-decided games way too often when people should just quit but they can't bc it will result in being timed out. You much rather get out of there with your win. If you wanna play a full game, play RS. People won't quit bc they wanna protect their rating.

First part was a fact yes but calling someone a nobody is not a fact, that’s one persons negative opinion of them. What if someone else thinks that same person is everything for saying what they said?
Who’s right?
No one...wanna know why?
Cus they are both opinions!
But you throw around insults on here so much you probably think insults are facts. Keep trying son, you’ll get me one day
-
Are you really complaining about getting a free win??
-
It does suck when people dashboard though. I'd never do that to someone.

By made me look stupid you mean prove my point by claiming one team doing something for a couple games is not the norm? You literally are sad. I love the ironh of a guy claiming that managers don't set rosters based on pitchers calling me dumb...then again you don't even know what a fact is. You dumb af
Good name...of a troll lol

The fact u took the time to write that out because someone wanted to quit and cut their losses is quite telling. No offense but you sound like a control freak, just let it be and stop trying to make everyone fit in your little box

How upset do you have to be over a win to think someone should be banned for 3 days for quiting a game?
-
I agree with the OP. Just because someone hit a HR in the first inning doesn't mean you won't take advantage of the conspiracy theorists "Comeback Logic" in the 2nd or 3rd inning. Also, maybe not in this particular event but regarding online play in general. If we use prestige players and are trying to unlock them by accumulating points towards certain missions. If a player rage quits if you hit a HR or anything with that player before the play ends, it won't count. This game is time consuming enough. Just play the game.
