Chapman since 2014 has thrown 214 sinkers at an average speed of 101 MPH.
True, but he does not throw a 2seam, but they refuse to give him a Changeup which he does throw more often
Chapman Changeups By Year Since 2014
2014- 63
2015- 89
2016- 31
2017- 31
2018- 7
2019- 1https://www.fangraphs.com/players/aroldis-chapman/10233/pitch-type-splits?position=P&data=pi&pitchtype=CH
So you're entire argument is basically "the internet says it so it must be true"? As someone who has watched thousands of innings of Yankee baseball I can tell you (along with others who actually watch the games) that he does not throw a sinkerI rather trust a reliable source like fangraphs than your eyeball...

Haha my favorite is Chapman having a sinker. Don’t know when he developed that since I watch every Yankee game.
Been throwing one for a few years.
Brilliant post. Too often in the current landscape of declarations as truth - without either supporting facts or often any fact-checking at all - statements like the one you refuted just get accepted.
Bravo.

Personally, I think SDS doesn't know anything about baseball. They got the jobs through connects and are clueless about baseball in general. Not just chapman but with other live series players too. The stats just don't match up and/nor make any sense.
Agreed, max muncy has better power than Bryce Harper
Nolan Gorman has better hitting stats then Trout.

2019- 1I said he throws a Changeup more than a 2seam. If ur so into stats, gimme one on his 2seam wise guy
He doesn't throw a two seam fastball. Although a sinker and a two seam can be considered the same. I am done with you, there is no reason to be so obnoxious and rude. Good day.

Exactly. So my statement of a changeup more than a 2 Seam would be correct. All I’m looking for

Hey that’s not fair! They gave everyone a slurve too!
Why don’t they just put more movement on fastballs?

Because players look at a pitchers card in MLB ‘20 and say “Yup, he throws a sinker. This card is filthy!” See Britton, Graterol etc.

I was mind blown they made McGriff a Brave. Not gonna lie, I love that they did, because I remember him being in Atlanta well, I do recall him as a Brave, but I was expecting that Padres card as usual. As for the rest of the Braves, I’m still not mad, because we need guys like Maddux, Smoltz, Glavine, Klesko etc to fill out the legends. Cards like Eddie Matthews are extremely viable at this stage of the season as well.
Bottom line here is, everyone was begging SDS for more legends from the 90s. The Braves being a dominant team of that era, with a stacked line up, means that you’re going to see a lot more Braves than usual if they respond to those requests. I’m not mad about all the Braves. -

If the Sinker was nerfed it would just be MLB The Cutter.
As for Braves week, I'm fine with it and I think we should have more weeks like it. Imagine having a Brewers Week with guys like Prince Fielder, Ben Sheets, Ryan Braun, and so on getting more cards
