Trying to decide which affinity to do next (both are at 25-30 and I just beat the showdown for 20 more). I will get either to 120 (in a reasonable amount of time). The obvious answer right now is the Marlins since Jazz is way better than Wright, however, I cannot see what decent summer/fall cards the Marlins could possibly have left. The Braves seem like a better long term bet based on their history, but then again I can’t imagine SDS giving some teams amazing 98-99s in fall and others bad 96s.

I'm guessing summer will be All-Star cards.

I bet that was the original idea, but the shortened season has thrown all their content plans for a loop.

A lot of talented players we don't readily associate with the Marlins played in Miami and were sent packing after the multiple Marlins post championship fire sales. Plenty of great players to choose from should SDS go the historical route.

Kevin Brown, Bobby Bonilla, AJ Burnett, Mike Piazza, Derek Lee, and even Brad Penny would be decent additions. The faster Hanley Ramirez would be OK too..we usually only get his Rookie card, but there were seasons in Miami where he was among the top defensive shortstops. And of course anyone who likes playing with Joey Gallo types (not me) would love a shot at All-Star 2B Dan Uggla.

FYI: As a switch hitting 3B for FLA, Bobby Bonilla had a career best slash line in 1997 with .297BA/.378OBP/.468SLG. 17 homers with 6SB would be decent enough for both power and speed. I would love to see a 1997 FLA Bobby Bonilla card. He gets paid by the Mets though 2025, so my suspicion is that SDS already has his rights though the MLBPA contract and doesn't even realize it. And just think of the salt it would pour into every Mets fan's lingering open wound.

Jazz looks like a solid all around. Wright is good in his own right. If choosing one, Id choose Jazz only because you can use him every game (depending how your lineup looks).

Kyle Wright is definitely worth getting if you're high enough in ranked season to get out of all star hell.

Even if they end with all 99s there’s still gonna be a lot of “bad” or unusable ones. Just look at how the Blue Jays and Tigers have already been screwed.

LOL wait. Piazza played like 3 games for the Marlins? But I wouldn't be surprised to see them get a cool TA Card like any of the following:
    2017 MVP Stanton
    2003 Postseason Josh Beckett
    2003 All-Star Mike Lowell
    2003 All-Star Luis Castillo
    1997 Postseason Livan Hernandez
    1997 All-Star Kevin Brown

Or if they continue with these made-up card types like FOTF/FS, wouldn't be surprised to see something like a
    SS "Mike" Stanton
    SS Mike Lowell
    SS Luis Castillo
    SS Jeff Conine
    SS Josh Beckett

Which would all also be pretty cool cards

I've heard many people praise Kyle Wright as one of the 5 best pitchers in the game currently, I have no idea I don't have him I just know Graterol ended up being a steaming pile of poo after everyone thought he was going to be the next GOAT

I believe he had already elected to go by Gincarlo when he won the MVP.
