IV Chipper
-
Has been shown as the third boss for the 3rd Inn Program.
Him, Roberts, and Victorino.
Thoughts on these 3?
Worth locking in at least 90K (75 minus the 15 you get with the voucher) to get an early head start?
Averages out to 1K per star.
Or just sell HanRam, Feller, and Carter; then use the stubs in exchangas/Showdown towards TA progress?
Could even use the 90K towards LS Diamonds.
-
Dont take this the wrong way, but why rush? None of those cards is going to be so good to give you an advantage in RS. Unless you are trying to be the first to get there, is that worth 90k?
It's a serious question, am I missing something in terms of why any one would want to get to the boss fast, especially this inning
-
Nah man. I’m sure you already have equal players right now. Why rush it?
-
Stub making method is watered down. Don't think rushing is a guaranteed way to make alot of stubs anymore

Haven't seen stats yet. I assume the best card is the chipper. Switch hitter with good vision, contact and power across both sides.
Victorino and Roberts are going to be speed/defense and contact based I think. Both also play positions with lots of competition imo.
3B is a bit thinner from what Ive seen and Chipper I think is the most useful off the bench as well.
-
So much for the "3rd Boss has to be a pitcher" myth.

The IV chipper is lf primary with 3rd secondary I think. Might have bronze fielder there just an fyi

Wouldnt 75 - 15 = 60k????

I think the cost of these cards shift as Chipper is far and away the favorite of these 3 so more people will take him and maybe the other 2 stay higher in value.
That being said most there will be alot of people who hit 300 stars so I think all 3 settle at the 26k mark the weekend before the new program. So if you get there and they are still selling for 50k might be worth a sell then pick up 2 later if you can self control and not blow on packs
I will get all there as the help me with my team builds

Well it's just likely... All but 2 of the innings inning programs last year had a pitcher in each .
-
I would hold onto the 3 bosses now and not lock them in. The 1st inning bosses were going for 50k earlier in the 2nd inning

Two things imo:
- First inning bosses were so much better overall
- First inning didnt have the lock-in/sell glitch.

I have all 3 of the 2nd Inn Bosses.
If I sell them now; I'll get around 90K.
If I lock them in for the voucher; I'll get 15K, XP, and the voucher for 75 Stars. So technically; I'll be locking in 75K worth of stubs.

Is he a LF? Eh either way hes a bench bat at most ultimately. EDIT Angels FS (Marsh) is free and grind-able and I think Diamond/Diamond.
I'm using LS Altuve who is bronze fielding and I think he bobbles routine grounders once per game if he gets at least 3 attempts. Its like clockwork.

I think it was the 1st Inning that had that glitch. As I remember someone saying they were able to sell Prime Oswalt AFTER they got his Prestige card.
Pretty sure SDS patched that.

Hrm? I thought I heard it was HanRam/Feller/Carter that was being sold after locked.

As @Khain24 stated; the 1st Inn Bosses were better than the 2nd Inning ones. At least in my opinion.
I had all 3 of them and sold them for around 40K each. Then they jumped up to around 50, then settled to where they are now.
I dont see HanRam (Bronze def), Feller (long windup), and Carter (bench bat at best) going much higher than 32-35K; but I could he wrong.
Currently, I have all 3 up for sale at 44K each.
I'll probably leave them there for awhile and if they dont sell within a few days, drop them.
As long as they dont go below 30K; I'll at least break even on the two that I bought and make 30K on HanRam.
-
Just sell all cards! Just ask your self this question would a [censored] 94 overall even be on your bench near the end of the year? No. Chipper will get a 99 later! Do not lock in for 3rd inning! If u can make 90k selling carter, ramirez and bob do it. Grind toward 99 sheffield ! 99 mantle and 99 Biggio! Would u rather have those players or 94 Roberts! 94 shane! 94 chipper! And red diamonds grinds take forever! By the time u got the reds better cards will be out! This year the inning programs have been horrible soo bad !!
-
So they’re all switch hitters, that was clever of them. Not rushing for any of those three though.
-
People lock them in, because if they bought them low, and total investment is around 60k, after the voucher reward, then if they grind overnight and get a boss really quickly they can usually sell the new boss for more than what they would get if they sold the previous bosses all now.
Therefore making a stub profit on top of having 3 more high diamond players. The 75 stars goes a long way to get unlock the boss quickly. They are not rushing to use them, they are rushing to make stubs while still having the previous bosses.
