My top Baseball movie is Eight Men Out
-
Major league. There are so many classic one liners in that movie.
-
The Natural
-
The Natural, or Field of Dreams.
-
I expected to hate it, but Mr. 3000 was actually pretty good. The Natural is the best pure baseball movie. I enjoyed Moneyball (and book) but there isn't much onfield action.
-
The Sandlot. No brainer for me.
-
Major League or A League of Their Own
-
Summer Catch
-
For love of the game.
-
A Few Good Men
-
Baseball by Ken Burns.
I know it's cheating... As it's a documentary, and about 20 hours long.
Still an absolute essential watch for any hardcore fan, and one of the best docs ever made -
I'll also put out 61*
Great movie about Maris and Mantle. Aaron Eckhardt plays a perfect Mantle in this -

1A. Field of Dreams
1B. Bull Durham
1C. The Natural
1D. Major League
1E. For Love of The Game -
Hardball, thats why my team name is Kekambas every year

For love of the Game probably has the best baseball footage, but I don’t remember loving the movie on the whole. I do really appreciate that Costner is a legit ball player. One of my pet peeves is baseball movies with actors who have clearly never held a bat or thrown a ball in their lives.
I’ve read that a lot of big leaguers thought Moneyball was a joke, but I really liked it.

You mean Freddie Prinze Jr. in Summer Catch wasn't convincing as a pitcher ? How dare you
