My top Baseball movie is Eight Men Out

SDS

Major league. There are so many classic one liners in that movie.

The Natural

SDS

The Natural, or Field of Dreams.

SDS

Sooo many to pick from, I have alot of favorites. Since no one's mentioned it yet.. Bull Durham.

SDS

I expected to hate it, but Mr. 3000 was actually pretty good. The Natural is the best pure baseball movie. I enjoyed Moneyball (and book) but there isn't much onfield action.

SDS

The Sandlot. No brainer for me.

SDS

Major League or A League of Their Own

SDS

Summer Catch

SDS

For love of the game.

SDS

A Few Good Men

SDS

Baseball by Ken Burns.
I know it's cheating... As it's a documentary, and about 20 hours long.
Still an absolute essential watch for any hardcore fan, and one of the best docs ever made

I'll also put out 61*
Great movie about Maris and Mantle. Aaron Eckhardt plays a perfect Mantle in this

No love for The Scout ?!?!? Peak Brendan Fraser. Joking

1A. Field of Dreams
1B. Bull Durham
1C. The Natural
1D. Major League
1E. For Love of The Game

SDS

Hardball, thats why my team name is Kekambas every year 🙂

For love of the Game probably has the best baseball footage, but I don’t remember loving the movie on the whole. I do really appreciate that Costner is a legit ball player. One of my pet peeves is baseball movies with actors who have clearly never held a bat or thrown a ball in their lives.

I’ve read that a lot of big leaguers thought Moneyball was a joke, but I really liked it.

You mean Freddie Prinze Jr. in Summer Catch wasn't convincing as a pitcher ? How dare you
