I’ve only used him twice, both on HOF. His sinker slider is gross. His change up hung a few times and was crushed. I’m gonna use him a few times next season and see if Hill last in my rotation.
One other note I wouldn’t use him more than 5-6 innings. His pitches start breaking less and people figure him out I feel like.

Thanks! Sounds awesome! Anyone else?

I’ve had success working laterally with him and mixing in the occasional high fb/dirt change. He does well against lefty heavy lineups

I’ve faced him three times and have absolutely smashed him. It was just homer after homer. And I’m just an above average player, Nothing special. Maybe he’s good and I just read him well, I don’t know. I’m sure as hell not getting him though lol
-
I’ve gotten shelled w him everytime except two , and the person clearly couldn’t read the sinker or slider. People who can read him destroy him. I took him out of my rotation unless I’m down a lefty bullpen arm I’ll add him in for late relief.

Sinker slider combo is honestly one of the best, he is a beast I swear

What’s your plan of attack with him? I’ve faced him once and he was disgusting. I’m gonna unlock him soon and will plug him in on HOF+. Sinker/slider combo?
I usually start sinker, see how they react, then finish with either a fastball or a change up; then the next batter sees nothing but sliders, then I just start mixing it up to keep my opponent off balance, which is Surprisingly easy with Lodolo being that he’s a lefty

Only thrown one game with him so far but I liked him. He’s like a left handed Brady Singer, just has a slider instead of the slurve and I love pitching with Brady Singer. These future star pitchers are decent and I’m having fun with most of them, or as much fun as you can have pitching in this game, lol. I’m using Schmidt, Singer, Lodolo and Dunning (Yes they’re all sinker guys) over Kluber, prestige Oswalt, Ohtani etc. It’s nice to mix it up instead of using the same cards all the time.

How is that singer? I just unlocked him ( number 26 of 30 ) so I want to try him out

Here’s the thing, I really like Brady Singer. I don’t want to take him out of my rotation, because I enjoy pitching with him. When I looked last night he was 8-6 with a 4.19 ERA and 1.03 WHIP, so that’s usually the point where I’ll be like right, you’re gonna be gone soon.
Looking past that though, I noticed he had 107K through 77 1/3 IP, so he is averaging well over 12 K/9, which is always encouraging. I also saw righties were hitting .225 off him and lefties .227. So what was the problem here? He’s striking guys out, he’s not getting smacked around consistently, why is he looking rough? The answer was in the advanced stats page. His BABIP was an incredible .347. That’s almost 100 points above where my regular pitchers tend to settle, so I decided he was simply being unlucky to this point and things will improve.
Now, he only has four pitches, granted, which may put some people off. His sinker is very good, plenty of 2 seam action on it and I throw it a lot, mostly outside to lefties and inside to righties, but you can reverse that and run it in on lefties and throw it down and away to righties. One reason it plays so well, aside from the break, despite only coming in at 92-93mph is because he has a filthy 77-78mph change up that plays off it perfectly and these should be the main weapons you use to attack hitters. He also throws a slurve which is a useful third pitch to his arsenal, it’s not as good as Goose Gossage throws, but it’s definitely useable, particularly as it breaks opposite to the sinker and sits at a speed above the change up and below the sinker, should you need to mix it up. His final pitch is a straight 4 seam fastball and will touch 94-95mph up in the zone. I rarely throw this unless I’ve been over throwing the change up low and I feel like my opponent may be sitting all over it, then I’ll run a straight fastball up just above the zone to induce a late swing, chase, or even just clip the zone for a strike, accidentally or by design. You’re better off throwing the sinker up and away than a straight fastball most of the time though. He’s also hit a two run homer and tossed a no hitter online in his short stint with my squad, so I’m a fan.

Singer was an absolute pain the only time I faced him in the AL Showdown

Including a few event games, I'm 15-1 with Lodolo with an ERA under 2. He's by far my best pitcher and avoids hard contact for the most part. His motion is a little funky which is what i think helps him the most.
