Never playing an away game ever again
-
I used to get mad when people would quit out of games where they were away, but now I see why they did. The timing window is so much more consistent when you are the home team and the game is way better. When skill already matters so little, I'm going to take every opportunity to set the RNG odds in my favor. Until SDS makes it so the game plays same when I'm on the road I'm just quitting out of every game where I'm away

????????

You know what's weird though, sometimes I play away games and the timing windows seem to favor me. My opponent then seems to be late or very late on everything, while based on his record and averages I can tell he's a good player and I literally have to slow down my swings to not be in front of pitches. And then sometimes when I play at home it's the complete opposite, the timing windows seem impossible for me. Long story short, I'm completely lost when it comes to this and there is literally zero consistency.

everyone should just quit out of every game, should make for a fun time
-
it's amazing the things people come up with when they lose

You’re overthinking this lol

Threads like these are SDS fault for their lack of transparency on user & server ping. So definitely won't fault OP for rage creating this thread

The only time I have a good experience on the road is when I'm playing in a minor league park, and even then it's not every time. When it's in an MLB park, I'm just guessing on my timing every swing. Whenever I play at home it feels much more consistent, but maybe that's just me. I wonder if it has to do with how similar the ping is between me and my opponent

Bingo I have the exact same issues!

IMO this is the biggest flaw in the game at the moment and doesn't get talked about enough.

If you’re talking about MLB stadiums being glitched I will 100% agree. They are lag fests. But that’s a different story than playing on the road in general, where I don’t think there are any shenanigans at play

I would argue that OP is underthinking this, not overthinking this. It only takes a small amount of thought to come up with a dumb idea that you would realize is dumb if you keep thinking about it
-
So if every snowflake quit out if they were the road team then there would be no games played. Its not home and away. It's the fact that this moronic company cant make beautiful stadiums lag free. I would love to be able to play in real stadiums and old candlestick but cant because there is lag every year unless we play in fairyland shippett.

I should have mentioned that MLB stadiums are a huge part of the issue. The problem with playing on the road is that I never know which stadium I'm playing in until the game is started. The game plays fine most of the time when I play in minor league stadiums even when on the road, but there are times where it feels like a whole different game. With that level of variability in every road game, I'll just back out and make sure I have good connection as the home team

He ain’t lying. When I’m away I can’t hit for [censored]. Very late then very early over and over. Never any consistent timing windows. It’s almost impossible for me to hit away. I have to hope for a few runs and pitching to workout... it does sometimes and other times it forces you to hang a pitch in a bad spot
