Why don't you put Hank Aaron on diamon dynasty?

Because they can't just put in whoever they want, and name rights cost a lot of $
-
Babe Ruth Lou Gehrig Stan Musial Ty Cobb Cy Young Walter Jhonson others have not come out because they should not put Hank Aaron

Babe Ruth Lou Gehrig Stan Musial Ty Cobb Cy Young Walter Johnson is my favorite player.

You never know with all these braves players, could be foreshadowing.. Could be niekro though too.. lol.
But I could see them slapping another big name on us before the year's over. Hank could be a guy to get middle of the season sales, and keep people excited for next year. -
SDS goes multi-platform next year and would theoretically want the biggest name possible to headline the debut.
Aaron has the highest career WAR of any player not in the game that isn't named Jon Dowd.
He's also one of only 3 people in the past century to hold the prestigious title of "Home Run King".You do the math.
-
If he was going to be in the game we'd know about it already, he's too big and too expensive to not advertise.
Next year I would be shocked if Jeter and his mediocre defense isn't on the cover.

I think there going to tug on the heart strings heavy next year. Aaron being the top reveal with guys like manny rameriez, randy Johnson, Pedro being right behind.
-
I think there is 3 cover athletes next year 1 for each system all 3 of which will be legends

*4 not 3... Ruth passed Roger Connor in July 1921. So Conner, Ruth, Aaron, Bonds the last 100 years
Please, let us do that math.
I also think it's funny the way you wordsmith Hank Aaron being 2nd in HRs, 5th in WAR and 2nd not in game.
If they wanted to attract fans wouldn't they just go after #1 all time and #1 not in game? Especially since he's a lot more relevant today... The "biggest name possible" you say, and you slip right over the guy #1 in everything you mention lol
-
I got to meet Hank Aaron and he wouldn't sign an autograph because of his agents, he said. He came to my school to meet our team and tour facilities. So based off my 10 second interaction with him and shaking his hand...I'm guessing he's not really one to care about being in a video game.

The entire reason you knew who I was talking about when I said Jon Dowd is exactly why he won't be in the game and it's but a fool's errand to even try.
Yeah, it'd be great to have him. But you're more likely to see Pete in Cooperstown before you see Bonds in The Show.

F Barry Bonds!

Well, retired players aren't in the MLBPA and i believe they negotiate their likeness on their own, not as part of a union anyway. So Bonds withdrawing from the MLBPA licensing agreement back when he was a player in order to negotiate on his own means nothing because they would need to anyway with him retired. They just didn't want to bother negotiating a single player separately before, but if they are doing it anyway now, why not.

It's not that unrealistic to get him and it would be a massive splash especially releasing to Xbox...
Hank Aaron? Sorry as great as he was and as much of a legend he is, he's not going to provide that spark to draw younger fans that want their own legend not their parents/grandparents legend...

When I was younger, I wanted to know all of the greats in MLB history. I preferred collecting the Cooperstown Collection Starting Lineups over the players I watched every day. I had Ty Cobb, Lou Gehrig, and Babe Ruth shirts, and loved wearing my Brooklyn Dodgers jersey. I could name the members of the 500 HR club, and had a lunchbox with their totals on it.
It certainly seems like I am an outlier and, now more than ever, people are only concerned with what is happening in the moment, or the next moment. To me, it's sad that the next generations arent able to appreciate the greats of history, and only seem to care about the era that they live in.

But here's the deal for the people that do appreciate the old greats there's already a ton. Hank Aaron wouldn't be adding any new dimension, he's not the HR King either... Bonds on the other hand... That's where the draw would be.

You're neglecting history for a narrative. Aaron overcame tremendous racism his entire career, and still managed to be the HR king, while just also hitting for a career average above .300. Besides the HRs, he ranks in career #s
Hits-3rd
Runs-4th
RBI-1st
XBH-1st
TB-1stTo imply that his merit is lessened due to being "passed" * by Bonds in the HR list is selective at best. His place in history is cemented due to his overall excellence. It's pretty tragic to think that someone believes Henry Aaron's legacy is that he is merely the guy whose name appears second in career HRs.

Thats just how things are these days. Unfortunately. Sports, movies, music. Anything more than a year old is obsolete and unimportant. People don't watch old movies anymore, they don't listen to old music, and they don't learn about or respect sports history.
