How many of you actually enjoy this year's game? I follow several Instagram accounts and read a lot of posts here in the forums and I see more complaints than actual enjoyment. Me personally I really do like the game. Yes there are a few things I think could be fixed or changed, but overall I have been having a ton of fun this year. I've changed my hitting style for the first time in years and have been able to do things I haven't been able to do before.
The only issue I have is with every pitcher being a gold glove defensive player lol. The number pf spectacular plays by pitchers are way too high

It's kinda like when you buy a new car. If you pay money for a new car wouldn't you want it to perform the way it was intended? If it didnt would you not complain to the dealer/manufacturer until the issue was resolved or your money was refunded because you bought a lemon? That is the frustration that the complainers are dealing with.
Please not this analogy. First off it's a $60 video game that plays very well with some annoying glitches (not game breaking). Hardly meeting the definition of a lemon. And I bought a fully loaded Toyota Tundra and can't stand the way the transmission searches for gears at times. How much luck do you think I would have going onto a Toyota forum screaming my head off about an issue that in the end for me is a huge issue but does not change the fundamental drive ability of the car. Solution either deal with the transmission issue or pay out of my pocket to regear it. Parallel: speak your piece once but then either deal with the one offs or play another mode. The same people come on here day in and day out ranting about how this game is ruining their lives and SDS should be ashamed of themselves. Its just tiring.

Thank you! You have said exactly everything that I was trying to say. I just wanted to see more positive than the same old tiring stuff by the same people. They think they are funny, when in reality they are just annoying.

I think my post came across wrong. Sorry.
I see all the negativity too, and I don’t understand why people spend dozens of hours doing something that they don’t like. This game has flaws, but the pros if it hugely outweigh those flaws, which is why I play very night.

I think this was a fix to a year or so ago when balls were constantly slamming pitchers in the face and flying off into different directions. I think part of the fix was making the pitcher just make a lot of those plays. They still get hit sometimes, but not like before.
Or as part of PFP in spring, they really just focused on the behind the back and head blind grab.

He’s 100% correct. The hitting/pitching/fielding is all RNG. Random outcomes just like a slot machine at the casino.

I would honestly enjoy the game if fielding and base running weren’t a complete and utter mess

The number of 1-5-3 outs this year is crazy lol. I played one conquest game were once an inning the ball would hit my pitcher, be picked up by my 3rd baseman and have him throw the guy out at 1st

Im enjoying the game this year. Once i put in the effort to practice more and got use to the timing window. The games actually not that bad.
