Tom Glavine = John Lester???
-
You can't tell me a Signature Series Tom Glavine card will have the same overall as a John Lester card from last year.
Two time CY winner, WS MVP, and first ballot HOFer. Far better career and peak numbers than Lester.
YOU HAVE FS PITCHERS RATED HIGHER THAN TOM GLAVINE... GTFOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You figured out a way to make Adam Jones a 96, work your magic SDS and fix this travesty, or remove the HR display ️

It is also surprising that this card would be a BR reward, given that he’s a new legend and there’s a ton of Braves fans on this game. On the flip side, it’s incredible that Chipper is as good as he is and free.
-
It really shocked me too. I'm hoping the card can be prestiged, maybe up to a 97. I was thinking we'd be seeing a 99 Chipper, but now I'm thinking the blood diamond 96 will be his best card. And it is a good card. Just hope we can do the same with Glavine.

If you don’t think chipper will get a 99 your nuts

Makes perfect sense my friend for them. The guys that do these 12-0 runs just draft BR teams over and over until they feel like they have the right draft then when the do get the rewards they immediately sell them or most of the time for the 200k in stubs that the tons of Braves fans will be dying to buy etc. They did same with Chipper last year 99 was a WS Reward and was 500k stubs on market. I just hope the make another Smoltz end game card Cy Young 99 maybe and

Most HOF players will get an Awards, Prime, or Signature card; especially somebody as liked as Chipper. A "Veteran" card will not be his best. His best version will probably not come out until October though since this was just released.
Glavine Signature card being lower than these FS cards is absurd.
-
The fact that Kluber (a career 34.6 fWAR pitcher) has a god like 99 card, and Tom Glavine (a career 66.7 fWAR pitcher) gets a 95 overall and it's a SS!! Which I thought was supposed to be pumped up...
This year's cards a total mess -

You're likely right, but as you say it will be late in the cycle. Glavine being a 95 makes no sense, if not a 99 at least a 98. I'm just hoping he is part of the prestige program, maybe we can get him up to a 98.

This year's cards a total messAwards and Prime cards are pumped up as much as SS cards are, they mentined this in an early stream. A career WAR makes no difference comparing an award card with signature.
Award - 1 year
Prime - around 3 years
Signature - a whole career -
All these complaints are being made under the assumption that Glavine doesn't get a 99 later this year. Which he very well can still have.

Signature - a whole careerOk sure. And without going off last year's signatures, since most were pumped up beyond this year, I'll assume they brought SS ratings down judging off Glavine being a 95...
Glavine was a better pitcher than Newhouser. Plain and simple.. both SS....
Newhouser is a 98... -

This is only in reference to your(and everyone else) homerun display request.....if you let the player cross the plate and high five his homies the banner will disappear. It has been patched.

A Signature Series card will be his best. Plus his stats are not as goos as I thought they would be, he was a great pitcher but hard to rate him for a video game. 3.54 career ERA, 3.95 FIP, 8.8 H/9, and 5.3 k/9.

Keep in mind his comp (height of steroid era) which explains his very high fWAR and bWAR

Newhouser is a 98...Since they are both SS cards; compare their career stats, Newhouser was better in every metric. Glavine pitched more inning and had more wins, every per 9 besides BB/9 favors Newhouser.

Glavine in the highest scoring era everThey don't take these things into effect. Plus the dead ball era ended before Newhouser was born, he pitched in the 1940's and 50's with Ted Williams and his likes who were putting up pretty monster numbers.
Dead ball era was prior to 1920

Newhouser's 5.4 K/9 is way more impressive then Glavine's 5.3 because Newhouser pitched in an era with much less strikeouts -

Ya, sorry, not the dead ball era but the minor dead ball period of the 60's where runs per game were back under 4 and owners were once again trying to liven the game up because it was boring... That period
