50 Pack Loss

Welp, I’m definitely a hypocrite. I always tell people to spend stubs on the market and not on packs... but the stubs are on sale and I took some pain pills and decided that I wanted to see the diamond pull intro.
Two gold cards and 9 thousand bronzes. Ugh, I’m an idiot.
Seriously folks, earn packs in the game and use stubs on the player you want on the market. If you need me, I’ll be on the market for the next hour selling off all this [censored].

I only by single packs usually two at a time in hopes of pulling a diamond. I've done ok, pulled a few. 2 Haders and 2 Baez. Sold both for extra stubs to get all teams with no diamonds collected. Sitting at 70K in stubs and hoping I can double that and try a 50 pack to see if I can get a diamond or two.

I just try to remember that feeling of having 30k-75k stubs go down the drain, it's a great motivator. Sitting on 335k and not tempted at all to go buy disappointment, I mean packs.

Sorry to hear that. I’m back gaming after a 8 year lay off and limited time to play. Usually two hours a night. So it’s a long a process to complete challenges ,programs etc to improve my DD team . Last night I caved and took advantage of the stubs sale. Bought a 20 and ten pack,got a Arenado diamond in the 20 pack which significantly upgrades my team. I was really excited! Hope you have some better luck.

for the first time this year just now I took the Giants stronghold in 3rd inning conquest got the 5 pack budle reward an actually pulled hader..nothin special but a diamond none the less an now I don't have to buy both him and yelich for brewers so there's that...I usually expect nothing so it was a nice surprise

Bro...but that excitement of seeing that diamond is worth all the heartache. Then you get ten second of trying to convince yourself that maybe trout is a national league left handed pitcher.
I agree. Don’t spend money on packs. But, if you got stubs to spare, why not roll the dice.
On a side note. Do you guys know why my house doesn’t look like caesars palace in Las Vegas? I can’t figure it out.

I’m glad to see others who can relate to my pain.
I haven’t had bad luck this year. I’ve pulled a John Franco, Judge, and Jack Flaherty. I just had to share my pain of striking out with a 50 pack.
I like @elway7751 idea about buying only single packs. Maybe one pack is enough to satisfy my craving while not throwing away too many stubs.

Their packs are a scam. Their own odds show they are nothing more than a scam. Seriously look at the numbers not even taking into account whether or not premium pulls come out at those odds.
So let’s say if you get just a bronze or two your pack will be worth somewhere between 100-500 stubs. For this experiment we will say this packs value at 250 stubs. If you pull a silver your pack value is somewhere between 400-800. We will call it 600 as an average for this. If you pull a gold the pack value is somewhere between 1200 and 3000. We will call it 1800 got this because it’s obviously weighted to the lower overalls.
Therefore by their own stated odds on packs if you were to pull 100 packs:
You can expect to pull roughly 55% of packs with only bronze. That equals 13,750.
You can expect to pull 33% of packs with a silver. That would equal 19,800.
You can expect to pull 10% of packs with a gold. That would equal 18,000.
Now going into diamonds you can see we are at 51,500 in stubs value from a 150k pack opening.
That means IF you happened to actually pull 2 diamonds, there is only a combo of 9 diamonds that would actually give you your stubs pack or make stubs.
Plain and simple that is not gambling that is a scam. In conclusion, I like to open packs when I’m bored but after losing so many stubs in the last week I would never give them another dime and I don’t mind spending money on games here and there. They need to seriously adjust the pack pricing, odds, or put things in packs that bring the value up by quite a bit.
Now I will give them credit where it is due and that is you can absolutely earn a lot in game and you do not have to open packs. This is a silver lining but doesn’t change the fact that at the current rate the things shouldn’t even be on the game.

I blew about 400000 stubs today, ended up with nothing. Did get all my Indians team affinity exchanges done though

Yeah, I pulled 50 pack and got diamond sponsors and fields but no LS.
A week later, I open 15 or so pack I earned over a 3 day span, 4 diamonds. In fact, back to back pulls; Cole and Acuna. Needless to say I was pumped.

Idk what was up with yesterday but I actually pulled 2 diamonds in one day...I got hader and then later that night for what feels like my first time ever I got a diamond in a ballin is a habit pack it was only Morton from the rays but it got me 15k an got me past what I needed for sherzer...now I only need degrom as the last high diamond an all I got left is Arizona,Padres,cubs,brewers mets,braves an I'm done with collections....it's a grind when u don't spend money but the feeling of accomplishment to me is well worth it

Yesterday was my best day yet diamond wise as well. I pulled a classic stadium as one of my daily doubles it's not much but it was good for 4k and then I pulled Marte which was nice because I used the stubs to work towards getting Nolan Gorman. I'm now one exchange away from getting him.
