I think that is more of a frustration question because I am having fits chasing the low pitches. Tried all sorts of views in order to gain patience. It is frustrating though to give people hittable pitches and even when losing badly some people just care about preserving a no hitter or shutout and don't care about the fun factor for the other person. Even had a guy go head hunting on me because mantle got on, I stole 2nd and 3rd and then attempted a suicide just to get on the board. I even popped out and of course was doubled off third. Enough of my rant. What does rng stand for?

I literally use pulse pitching, aim for the center of the zone, and intentionally mistime the input so who knows where it will go, but it almost never goes down the middle

They are referring to a dice roll they believe is built into the game for the purpose of artificially controlling stats.

Then learn to lay off pitches below the zone? Your thread was made because you swing at trash pitches?

Protip if you want people to throw you strikes stop swinging at balls

Why are so many people afraid to throw strikes?

Because you swing at everything and I'm not going to reward you for having no plate discipline

I try to throw strikes, but my walks are WAY up this year. Sometimes the pitches just don’t hit their spots.

I'm not going to throw any intentional strikes until you show me you can lay off balls outside of the zone.

For me, it depends on the hitters. I’ve had Reggie take me deep on two balls I intentionally threw outside the zone in the same game that I lost 9-8. Maybe y’all are onto something.

You know, to me, it’s less about balls and strikes and more about keeping my opponent guessing.

Throwing strikes and getting ahead makes that easier. When I fall behind 3-0 or 3-1, there is a big advantage to the hitter.

That's also a big part of my problem is wondering which way the pitcher will go next
