I didn't view the march to October points as an exploit, that was just a reward for your time. It's not like getting 25xp for a home run in the derby or doing some magic retro game setting and getting points without even playing. You really did feel rewarded for your time.

I mean I was respectful and to the point in my response and you responded with name calling shows me you level.
Am I a fan or this game yes but I am will to call SDS on things as I have maintain their are faults in this game but at the same time if something was not intended to be part of the game like double MTO points then it needs to be fixed. Remember not all problems are equal and in this case the MTO bug is much easier and quicker to fix then some other issues are.
Also when it comes to determine what someone's time is worth is subjective you feel that the double points was worth your time but others including SDS may not see it that way and that's just life.
Will I play MTO again probley do I wish it still gave double points yes but I'm not in control of that beyond maybe offering a suggestion to SDS that they have double point MTO weekends

It is not just the case with this game but with any game, especially online games.
If you alter your game play to knowingly get the most benefit from a bug when it is found or introduced into the game then you are considered to be exploiting. So, if you made one MTO run the first month the game was released and made six or seven MTO runs in the last week because of the double XP then you were exploiting a bug.
Everyone knew it was a bug. If they had intended to double the MTO points then they would have announced it and not slid it in without any notice. The good news is that a lot of games will actively ban players who knowingly exploit bugs so at least SDS did not do that.

Bruh, yesterday shelfy tackled his chair because of showdown. A couple of weeks ago, mcgunski said "thank you sds for making a dogs**t game." Koogs at least once a video says "How does that feedback make sense."

So... how many points do you get for a world series run on all-star now compared to double points? If you can still get 50+ its a zero stub investment vs showdown so it's not completely pointless right?

Exactly. If you want to look at the math of it you are talking 5 hours to complete a MTO. At double points thats 120 in 5 hours.
Exchanges 10 points per say 8k. X12 96k. You are telling me you can generate 96k stubs in 5 hours?
Showdown costs stub and still for an average player 1.5 hour per run 20 points. 9 hours and its wagering stubs with high risk of failure.
Tell me again how 5 hours and 0 risk is balanced. -
