New to DD this year, so question about the content.

Brian Roberts perfect example. We got his gold card with the 2nd IP and now his diamond with the 3rd. Has the card content been like this in the past where it’s 2/3 cards in a short span and done for the szn or has it been more spaced out like in MUT? Seeing multiple players having multiple cards with upgrades already seems a bit odd but doesn’t affect me.

Have zero issues with how it plays out, just curious about the flow.

To the best of my knowledge excluding POTM and Topps now this is the first time we have seen a legend it a gold card in one program and then a diamond in the next.

There has been other instances where a guy has had 2 diamonds in a close time frame or a position getting multiple cards together yesterday being an example of that

Last year, Rickey Henderson had a Low Diamond released at Launch and then was a 3rd inning boss.

Did he have cards after the low diamond?

I meant it more as “We shall never forget when two diamond Cliff Lee cards released within like two weeks of each other.”

Not as “You forgot about Cliff Lee.”

Roberts was actually a gold in the first inning program, so it’s not that far out there.

I think the other portion is they might be shifting stuff around as far as release schedules and bosses to keep the game fresh by holding back superb legends due to there being no baseball. We have the same POTM it’s fun, but it’s not the NEW NEW. Just a thought

Generally once you see a prime/Sig series/ awards card for a player he won’t get another one. An exception would be if their first card is their best one (ex. Lefty Grove and Matt Williams first released cards were sig series rewards for making WS, they then had low diamonds released in inning programs later.)

They’re definitely moving around and spacing the content which is perfect for me and many others. Seen a lot of complaints that we’re not getting 99s in the IP like last year. I wouldn’t want all those Max cards in the game so early. No fun in that and gives many players the problems of “well I want the best cards vs the cards that are better for my play style”
